At least you guys got to sit and laugh at the show. A few years ago my daughter and I were in Vegas for a wedding. We bought tickets ($130/person) for a Chris Angel show. There was not a single trick we weren't able to figure out, or actually see how it was done. Neither of us has any background in magic. What a waste. Love your channel, so glad I found it!

I recall seeing Blackstone Jr screw up an illusion on live TV, though to be fair it was actually his assistant who got tangled up in a box (not the same production as in this performance) though Blackstone Jr contributed to the problem by moving too quickly. She looked seriously embarrassed. Junior seemed like a nice guy but he came nowhere remotely near Blackstone Sr.

This bowl game was broadcast on one of the 3 major networks back before cable and streaming services gave us so many options to watch. So your comment could not be farther than the truth. The top watched TV shows today do not pull in near the numbers even a mediocre show did back then as you had CBS, NBC , ABC or PBS as your choices. Top acts like Penn & Teller and David Copperfield, Blaine and others have paid tribute to Blackstone in interviews so he must have contributed something to the history of magic. Do you think any of the top acts of the modern era have mentioned any of these guys whom you are a fanboy of ???
