Roc I've got a John Deere gator xuv 560 and it's got a 16hp Briggs and Stratton Vanguard in it and it only goes 28 mph in high range and 18 in low range but like you said about that one, it's got all the low end torque you can ask for. I've got a little 4x8 utility trailer and I pull my zero turn up a steep mountain and down the other side and back every week to mow and it does a good job. It's 10 miles one way.

It seems putting these low-rpm torque motors in pure utility UTV's is more common then I thought, those things were nearly 14k new though, seems outrageous for such a low power (probably very reliable) powerplant. Mahindra is such a huge company, its probably 50% cheaper in India, the hydraulic dump bed is pretty nice though.

Parts are a little hard to get for some things on it. Fortunately the regulator is available.

You said don't shift diff lock while moving. What about the push button for the four wheel drive.can you be moving or should you come to a complete stop?

You should almost come to a stop to avoid damaging parts.
