As a Parts manager, I can assure you that it’s not the aftermarket parts. It’s your suppliers for the aftermarket parts. Nothing wrong with going aftermarket. Just have to have a good distributor so you actually get the right stuff.

Nicely done. It looks like the front end is nearly all new now. It should ride a lot better.

Love your videos and your overall approach to maintenance. Take it from someone who learned the hard way, NEVER use your hand as a hammer. Just get something to smack it with.

LUCAS came out with fluid to specifically replace the OEM polaris fluids. It's been in my 2005 700xp for about 6 months and has seen alot of ride time and the lucas fluid is only $12-$13 a qt

East Lake Axle is fantastic I have a weird in between years Polaris Sportsman so I had ordered the wrong shocks. They sent them out free and covered shipping both ways. Phenomenal company and I’d highly recommend them.

Glad to hear that! First time I used them.

Great video Rock !! I don’t think the owner does much maintenance on his machine !! The front bushings looked pretty dry and I saw some grease fittings on the Aarms
@rockspowersports15 күн бұрын
These Polaris’s so have grease fittings, not sure they were greased often..

I really enjoy your work. Keep it the videos coming! I'm curious, what are your thoughts on Namura top end kits? Both my 600 grizzlys need a top end. Thanks Rocky. I think that's your name?

What’s your opinion on using a bolt vs the roll pin on the drive shaft to diff yoke . i see a lot of people go with a bolt because it’s easier to get out vs the roll pin
@rockspowersports15 күн бұрын
I don’t see any problem with a bolt, might increase vibration a very small amount but probably won’t be noticeable

on the engine was there a hose disconnected? looked like one side was connected towards the front and the back was flopping around. 28:42 behind your hand.

I do not like polaris all that much. Those plastic cages they used back in the day for the front diff were junk. In fact that whole diff was junk lol. Good fix though.

@@northerntoyota7584 I bought my first Polaris in 2017 because I liked the new body style and design !! It’s been great, over 13000 kms on it now with no issues !! I have always been a Yamaha fan !! But they don’t seem to build anything new or bigger than a 700
