Just a suggestion, but have you considered covering vintage bikes instead of all these new expensive European bikes that nobody in the USA can afford currently? The Honda CB360, the Honda CB450 twin, with the special experimental valve train called the "Black Bomber" that could produce 45 horsepower somehow. Or the awful XS650 Special twin, which has a full roller bearing crankshaft. Or the original 1971 KZ900 which was the very first crotch rocket, and it also had a full roller bearing crankshaft, and rods. These old engines could be covered. The 1968 Honda CB750 which had 68 horsepower in my timeline. Or the CBX1100 (not affordable, but unique and special). How about finding a really old bike, and doing a "resto project." I think you could bring in a huge new audience. I love modern bikes, but the older bikes are incredibly beautiful, and endearing. Like an old muscle car.

Agree with Yam, but I still think that Aprilia should get back into the 800-1000cc twin segment like they used to. Something with 130-140hp and boatloads of torque would be a perfect stepping stone up from the traditional middle-weights, and be a bike you'd never have to upgrade from unless you specifically desire that 200hp flagship literbike status. An RS900 for 13k would be sweet

So.. RS or Tuono for an all-arounder? (commuter/spirited riding/short trips/occasional track)
@lhdrones17753 жыл бұрын
Not an easy question to answer! Ergonomics are different in more than one point but not dramatically. The plus of the tuono are flickability, the possibility of fitting bags on the rear tail, a more relaxed position, suspensions targeted for the road, and the slightly lower price. The better choice if you mainly go on the road and only go to tracks once or twice in a year. Plus of the rs are fairing, a more effective position for racing, even if not Extreme, and a more sophisticated electronic package and stiffer regulable suspensions. I would choose the tuono because I don’t go on tracks, but both of them are a good choice, it’s up to your preferences.
