David, people would still complain if you paid for all the processing, hand delivered the meat to the needy, cooked it for them, and fork fed the people. You know you and what you need to do. You are a good man and are doing a service to everyone to rid the public of those nuisance and destructive animals. Plus you are making the buzzards happy.

We need you in Canada to hunt superpigs one weighed in at 290 kg (638 lbs) apparently , half wild boar half farm pig, highly intelligent and they understand humans. They were breed for hunting and we didn't think they would survive our -30c winters, but they are very intelligent, they taught themselves to build 'pigloos' they dig under the snow and live there for the winter, it is so warm inside hunters spot the steam coming up because the air is so dry at that temperature humidity freezes and falls out of the air like glitter.
@raymondheckard2342 ай бұрын
David another issue with feral hogs, is many processors unless they are dedicated to wild game processing won’t allow them in their facility. Custom process during deer season have to stop processing domesticated pork , Beef and Lamb to comply with USDA and state regulations, as wld game and Feral Hogs can be contaminated with harmful bacteria, that domesticated animals don’t have.

Exactly. Likely a reason why zoos don't want wild meat too. Food pantries can't give out uninspected meat.

If you contacted the closest food pantry and tell them you will call them when you have pigs. They could then get people to sign up for a whole hog and deal with the processing themselves. If the scheduling worked right there could be a bunch of people eating free pork for dinner! I know that around my area I can bring excess garden produce (I know, not meat that spoils) and even eggs to the food pantry. Would there be enough people to sign up and actually pick up to make it work? I don't know, but thanks for trying to work it all out!

I went back and paused the video and counted 23. Thank you for being so patient with the ones out there with their questions, me I would look at them and say "why didn't you listen the first -second-third time. There are so many people out there that just do not have any sense or concept of all the time it takes to do the things they are telling you to do.

I almost bagged me a 3 point stick.There was a light drizzle and fog and in dawn light I saw a 3 point buck. I slowly edged closer but the deer didn't move which seemed odd. I stepped on a stick which made noise and no movement. I also didn't have shot, no back stop just fog. I continued forward movement and the silhouette changed. It was a branch attached to a downed tree.
