Glad you got a fun movie (at last). And it's episode 69! Niiiice. Not much trivia to this one, but there's two particularly noteworthy facts about it. This was, sadly, Merritt Buttrick's last feature film - best known for playing Kirk's son in Star Trek films, he passed away in 1989, a year after Death Spa came out. He was only 29. On a slightly more uplifting note, the extras used in the shower scenes were cast using a porn casting agency.

When I was growing up with my Mom, the "Giggles" was a term we used to describe when you started laughing at everything.
