I don’t really know what her thought process was but I remember her telling the class one time that the director was a sweetheart despite all the f’d up shit he puts in this movie lol. I also learned that she kinda gravitates towards horror and f’d up shit in movies and TV. She brought up how she’d never seen The Boys, for example, and we all said it would be right up her alley lol

As someone that grew up with horror movies and absolutely loves them...this was also incredibly rough for me to sit through 😣 for the record, I never saw the first film; a friend that did told me I'm not missing much that isn't recapped or able to be figured out here, and Sienna and her story help make the film palatable enough to sit through, which I absolutely agree with. Lauren LaVera's performance kept me invested, because you as the audience WANT her to win and take Art out, and it's satisfying when she finally does. A very well done film for what it aims to do, but definitely not something I feel I can revisit often. I MIGHT see Terrifier 3 when it comes out, mostly because Sienna's coming back for it, and I think I will try to see it with an audience at the theaters for it. But after that...I'm pretty sure it won't be something I'll be itching to experience again for a while 😞

Yeah you're not missing much from the 1st as there wasn't a story and doesn't connect to the 2nd really. The 2nd also mentions the murders from the 1st so you already know what happened anyway. I'm totally going to watch the 3rd as I'm interested in seeing where the story is going to go but also because everyone said the experience of watching the 2nd in theaters is off the charts and I don't wanna miss out lol

you should keep in mind that this movie doesn't begin with the first Terrifier, it has a film previous to that one called All Hallows Eve i believe. the very first Art the Clown film. and the little girl clown in this one is one of his victims from that film. thats one of the connections from it.
