Why do people trust Dallas more? They haven’t faced actual adversity really, never faced elimination as a unit, they’ve had low expectations this postseason which takes a lot of pressure off. People say Boston hasn’t had a tough enough road, Dallas’ last two rounds were against a very young Thunder team and a Minnesota team where the stars just didn’t show up. I don’t think their run has been as tough as people have hyped it to be, on paper they played good teams but if the players don’t show up is that team still the same as it is on paper? C’s just have a lot more talent and experience, if Dallas is gonna win it Luka will have to average a triple double with like 35+ppg (or at least ppg in wins)

Just look at their performance in their elimination game, against a good team they didn't have it. Minn choked that Conference Finals away, like I said, their stars just didn't show up. They may have been 50+ win teams but did they play like 50+ win teams? Not even close, I mean the Mavs were never in any threat of losing those series. As bad as Minn played they still lost their first 3 games very close, the Mavs weren't blowing them out of the building even when their stars didn't show up. Game 1: If I told you Towns & Ant combined for 12-36 with 35 points what would you expect that final to be? It was a 3 point game.(it was a comeback so credit there, but they got down when their best players weren't playing well) Game 2: Those two combined for 9-33 with 36 points, that was the Luka at the end 1 point game there. (it was a comeback so credit there, but they got down when their best players weren't playing well) Game 3: Ant finally has a good game but Towns once again, 5-18 for 14 points. Once again, does that scream "tough" there, beating a team where their two best players play like that?
