Nice video. Looing forward to checking one of these out. I have the Aputure 300D and need a couple more powerful lights. A couple of zip ties could fix that power brick issue.

All right, so I have the rc120d light and I like it, but I need a bicolor light as well, and potentially one that is more powerful if I have outdoor shoots and whatnot. Say my budget is $500. What do I get? I’m liking the Nanlite FS 300, but other than that there aren’t clear competitors since the output seems a lot better on the SmallRig compared to the Amaran 200x. Thoughts…?

"Bright", but we need to consider the angle (size) and evenness of the light.

Can these lights get rained on and not explode?

Do you think the 220B Is essential for corporate work? Or will the 120B get the job done?

The 220B will be the most versatile especially if you are in a bright setting and need something to overpower other lights. If you don’t have the budget for the 220, the 120B is also great!

85000 lux at 1m for $350ish is nuts, 300D II is 65000 lux at that distance
