It's been a few months since we last checked in on the UK based film brand Candido, and it seems that a lot has changed! This is not a sponsored video, but more an honest exploration of the quality, overall experience and how it handles keeping up with it's more expensive competition.

Honestly love your vids man, one of your first subs, but seriously man, could you maybe make the borders of your photos a littla less jarring, they are huge compared to the actual photos, I love your Photos but hardly get to see any details in them because of your huge borders, maybe make them more like the old skool photos used to be, small and subtle so we actually get to enjoy your photos and admire the details. Just my two cents, grateful that you actually share your journey. Be blessed man.

Love this video! Itching to try the 400 & 800 to compare to the Reflx Lab and Cinestill films. I'm in the L.A. area and it looks like Tuttle Camera in Long Beach has it.

Great Video and beautiful shots. I find the 400 ISO Candido a bit too punchy for my taste and I am not the biggest fan of the 200 ISO colors. But maybe it‘s time to try out the 800 one. But it‘s great that there are some companies that compete with Cinestill - maybe that helps to keep the rising film prices at least steady.

About the light leaks even with cinestill you can get light leaks ive seen even more than what you got covering probably 3-4 frames so i think this is just a symptom of the respooled film

All very well and good, but right now (30th Jan 24) Candido are NOT shipping anything. And "their" camera is a rebadged Kodak Ultra F9.... You alrady said that their orginal film stock was faulty... If it sounds too good to be true...
