You really need to start printing your photos!

Printing my photos was the thing that gave me the motivation to submit my work to local art shows and stuff and I even won an award doing so.

I’m in the middle of printing a big series I shot months ago. I haven’t printed hardly anything since IPhones came along and it’s a VERY different experience. Shots I thought were great onscreen have needed a lot of work to print well. I can see now a photo really isn’t finished until it’s printed. It’s a great satisfaction seeing them all come together up on my wall. That in itself is different; seeing my photos more than one at a time!

Preach my friend. Great content thank you !! My fav 35mm prints are the randoms of my fam where they're not looking at the lens, and sometimes just out of frame. Printed and hung they are fab. You've inspired me to showcase some for sure. Who cares if they suck ;0-)

Since I've found my old family album, with a few photos even older than 100 years, I have this idea of creating my own family album. I really want to use my grandpa's old camera and maybe even try to use some expired black and white film, to some kind of imitate the imperfections which can be found while looking at those old shots and of course add something from myself. I'm really looking forward to get this project started. I mean to document the life and look of our family like we used to? It may actually come out really awesome

I forgot to add I want to print it! I mean of course, it's one of the most important aspects. I've even found an unused old photo album next to those filled with family pictures. It'll be simply perfect to use
