You know... I wanted a new hobby to get into. Decided fishing and then Carp fishing due in large part to your channel. Been a great first summer. Been fishing about 4 months now. Caught my personal best 12.6 lbs this week. So, thank you for what you do. Very much appreciated. P.s. I just copied your 99% rig. It's great.

In the PNW, we drink coffee. Your coffee is perfect. Quality beans, no sugar, and a little cream. Congrats on the PB. Weighing the fish in the net is the easiest way for me, too.

Congrats, Tom! I got a relatively inexpensive fish weigh bag, zip tied some pieces of pool float to the handles, and added a length of cord. I generally get out before sunrise and I wanted to be able to hold a fish until daybreak without causing it distress, so the bag can go into the water and let the fish stay calm and secure.

Tom your on a big fish carp lake now! If your going to catch a 30 that's definitely the spot. I would have loved to see if that bite was still on at night. That power bank should be able to provide some light for you. Congrats on your new pb and an awesome day of carp fishing.

That reminds me, in college I worked with this guy who would talk about chemtrails to anyone who would listen. He had also sharpened his front teeth and finger nails because he said he was a cat in his previous life. I wonder what he's up to these days.
