That's amazingly sharp edge to edge for the amount of magnification. I've been looking at this one for a bit... Pricey, but it seems like it works better with these newer phones than other telephotos. My Pholes sucks on anything bigger than 1/1.7", even stopping down to F4 on my Mate only improves the edges a tiny bit. I'd like to know how it works on the X100, because if it's anywhere close to what it's like on the 14 Ultra, even with the wider aperture, I'll take it.

It's not perfect, it does have very slight vignetting, and the center is sharper than the edges, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as some other lenses I've seen for phones. I plan to do more videos on it, and I have a lot of videos planned but haven't gotten to them yet. I've been quite busy with regular life stuff so I hope to get around to it soon ~

It doesn't work well, it loses too much clarity in my opinion. These types of lenses are definitely designed with the main wide camera in mind

How was the auto-focus? Apparently your shots look sharp, I am expecting some decrease in quality because this is not a real camera system, Ideally the lens goes directly into the sensor and not on top of another lens. Can't wait to have main so I can test this on my own.

It's not bad on the Xiaomi. It'll just be really device-dependent. That's probably the biggest issue with reviewing these, because it will vary so drastically depending on which phone you pair it with

I was waiting for more reviews on this lens but I couldn't wait anymore - purchased this beast 3 days ago... It's still being shipped at the moment... I don't know if I will be amazed or disappointed... I am using Samsung S24 Ultra and I also have their new Case not the metal Cage.

I think optically the lens isn't bad at all. It's just big and heavy. But I've seen much much worse. And price wise, compared to the bigger players like Moment and Sandmarc, I think it's a much better bang for the buck

That's true and the quality is just massively better 😅, but there's a difference between carrying a phone lens (considering that the phone includes multiple focal lenghts), and carrying a proper camera with its lenses

Perspective distortion comes from relative distance at the point of capture. So you are imagining things. There is some compression. There has to be.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I bought a 60mm neewer lens. Model LS 41. I also used it with a xiaomi 14 ultra. But I was a little disappointed, because it seemed to me that the image with this lens was blurry. How are things with the LS 59 model? Are there any problems with focusing?
