To avoid the grab of the top card, just control the card on the bottom, or 4th - fifth from the top. If you control it on the bottom it will be quite easy to do the move completely hidden, if you control it 4th or 5th you can cull the card and proceed as described, it’s quite dangerous take the first card as showed, even if since the spectator believe his card is lost, it should appear not important also if the move is seen, just do it naturally without watch the deck, as suggested in the video. Just my 2 cents.
@jmiki893 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I mean, I just started doing cardtricks, and I'm not in any way an expert in controling the deck (I have no idea how to control anywhere else but to the top or to the bottom, let alone what that culling might be), but for me it's a lot easier and way less suspicious to pull the selected card among the two helper card from the bottom.

Using a bluff pass would be a nice way to get the card 4 or 5 from the top

Amazing trick MLT! I have another variation for all of the advanced magicians. You could control their position in the 4th position and then do a cull placing their card in between the two helper cards. It just looks like you are spreading too the first helper card. Keep up the amazing daily uploads! #Roadto400K!

Nice trick but the part where you should avoid being watched when shuffling card from top down to center, keeps feeling awkward.. Would be better if there is a way from bottom to middle..

No wonder why I didn't see the bloody move, you move your hand of screen to cover it. Though I must commend, that's exactly how you would misdirect irl too, using blind spot.

why don’t you control it to the bottom and while you are spreading you can bring the card from the bottom where it won’t be seen… this way you don’t have to rely on misdirection to make the trick work
@10titanic102 жыл бұрын
Nice idea you tried it?
@rogerweafer21794 жыл бұрын
The move would be a lot easier if you brought the card to the bottom of the pack. Your fingers could easily slide the bottom card to the right under the spread and a lot less movement and misdirection would be required. (having said that) I'm not too sure how I feel about these demonstrations/exposures.There are concepts that you would 'nt have to expose to the curious like controlled shuffles and breaks etc. The people that watch your channel are not professional magicians and a lot of this inside material is beyond their reach anyway from the comments you get on a regular basis. There are a TON of great SELF WORKING card tricks in BEGINNER books that are used to TEACH beginners.Sorry,but it was bad enough for magicians that earn a LIVING (that PAID REAL $$$$ for these secrets) before the internet without delivering the goods to the average person that would rather expose the magician than perform as one! I taught a magic class in a local college classroom and you must judge the audiences/students abilities before designing the lessons. My library alone cost me around $3500 (easily). and I learned these concepts as I developed ability and cash to pay my dues (so to speak)
