pre-arranged, without cutting the cards to make it simple to understand: "1"-2-3-4-"5"-6-7-8-"9"-10-11-12 "SF"-H-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D POSITION 1* -- the 1st card will reveal whether the chosen card is a Face or number. 1*-3-5-7-9-11 SF-C-SF-C-SF-C 2-4-6-8-10-12 H-D-H-D-H-D POSITION 2* -- the 2nd card will reveal color of the card and MUST match the 1st revealed card. 2*-6-10 H-H-H 4-8-12 D-D-D POSITION 4* -- the 4th card will reveal the chosen card's suit and MUST match 1st revealed card. 4*-12 D-D 8 D POSITION 8* will be the chosen card and already revealed it suit since 1st card! In order to satisfy all the above conditions, the ONLY way is to move the 2nd card to the bottom, and the position of the card becomes: "1"-3-4-"5"-6-7-8-"9"-10-11-12-2 "SF"-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D-H Finally: "1"-2-3-"4"-5-6-7-"8"-9-10-11-12 "SF"-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D-"SF"-H-C-D-H

This trick doesn't work always. The final card is sepectetor's card, but the true/lie part with the top 3 cards doesn't match. Will be glad if I get any opinion on this.

Okay, so I watch a lot of your videos and I'm always impressed with how you explain the tricks in basic terms that are easy to understand. However, you've got me on this one. As you say, some false cuts take place, got that. Then the pack can be genuinely cut, got that. This is the part that's confusing me, if the chased order still remains BUT the actual cards have moved position (as you say this can happen)..... How do you know what card they have chosen? Apologies if I'm being a bit dumb, I have watched this 4 or 5 times now and I just don't get how you know what the chosen card is. Any help would be appreciated.

Technically you are not going to know their card until the end of the trick. I recommend you watch the tutorial from 7:20 onward to make sure you understand the exact steps that make the trick work.

MLT Magic Tricks Thanks for getting back. Ok, still a little lost here. Surely you need to know the chosen card so that you are able to determine the truth/lie when "reading" the cards, i.e. Face or number, red or black etc. I have to say this one has got me lol.

This trick didn’t work for me, in the first question when I ask if it’s number or face, when actually it should be a number I get a face card as the answer from the cards, I thought it was a bit more simple, even after mixing them up like you said, it still didn’t work, oh well, there are tons of other tricks I’ve learned from you so thanks anyway!
