I genuinely don't mind the fan art, it looks good. I think that the hate she got earlier because she's black made her believe that this fan art is supposed to hide her face/race. Someone explained to me in way that makes a lot more sense on why she was upset. With broadway posters they usually keep actor’s faces off because it’s not gonna usually be the same actor or actress depending on the show. Also keep in mind, there were limited edits done to Ariana whose character’s face is also mostly covered. So in her eyes, she could see it as people saying her role is just interchangeable. And honestly after all the bullshit, why wouldn’t she see this as an attack on her. We can all say this and that but we’re not her, we don’t get to dictate how she responds to something like this. At the end of the day, she was hurt and that’s that. Who are we to get mad at her for getting mad at something directed towards her? You clearly showed remorse for how’s she’s been treated so this ain’t aimed at you but I’m just explaining why she could feel this way.
