Just the other day at a tech store I've seen this screen in person, it's by far the clearest most pristine quality of monitor/screen I've ever seen. Videos on KZbin will not do this screen justice you have to see it for yourself.

I think there's a lot more to go wrong and regular deformation causing fatigue is definitely one of those things. I'd want to see a 5 year warranty and real world reports of them surviving 10 at this price.. but same time if Samsung can pull off reasonable reliability on folding phones I'd think it's doable on a desktop monitor. Which isn't to say lgs implementation will be/is good enough... Just that the concept can probably be sound. Phones are smaller but a lot more dynamic forces daily than a desktop monitor

Really nice monitor and review! I dont know why we are still talking about the size. I am sitting in front of an Acer Predator 43 inch gaming monitor. Its perfectly fine and I couldn even think of going back to something much smaller. And the 42 inch here is even smaller than what I am used to at the moment. So I think everbody could be able to adapt to this size.

You must not own a curved monitor. It’s much more immersive. For productivity, it reduces the amount of trying to see what’s closer to the edges, as all the information is facing you

I never claimed to be bigger than the company behind this product, nor the entire hardware/software team behind it. Even those engineers that came up with this idea can't individually have such a claim. It took all those people + a serious dedication of time and money...a LOT of money. Even then, if the product doesn't have a big brand name and sufficient marketing behind it, it won't sell. If you can't see how such a system works and how important each big or small step is, then it very well explains your rude and shallow comment. Normally, I wouldn't waste my time to reply to such comments, but this time I chose to educate you. I wish you good luck.

Ok, a few questions. When you downsize the screen to 27 inch or to ultra wide, does it still render at 4k, or does it go down to 1440p, or 3440x1440p? I mean, in terms of FPS, would it be less demanding then 4k, on a GPU, if you go down in size. Because if it is, this is the only gaming screen I need!!

It can still render at 4K depending on how you’re downsizing If you’re choosing a different resolution you’re getting a that size at the resolution you picked But if you’re reducing the screen size either through a feature on the tv or in your pc, you’ll be able to use the high resolution For example, you’ll be able to play at 3440x1440p at an ultrawide viewing angle no problem For a 27” screen at 4K you’ll need to mess with your pc settings a bit but it’s doable

Ive had one for the past two weeks! I love everything about it. Currently hooked up is a Mac studio and PS5. My largest issue rn is that sometimes when trying to wake the monitor up to work on my Mac, the monitor says no signal, even though I know my Mac is awake. This issue is common with Apple Silicon. Try hooking up the monitor via Thunderbolt. This will solve your problems.
