Overall nice.... But lemme correct u a bit about the Shreefal part.... I didn't knew abt coconut being called as Shreefal, but even if it is so, it's not the only fruit by that name.... I hope many others will also have known abt it that Bael fruit (The bael tree is also known as Aegle marmelos in English) is also known as Shreefal.... It's from the same tree from where we get the Bael-patras/ bilwa-patra for Mahadev & other hindu pujas... There r mythological or better historical evidence of it being related to Maa Laxmi (most probably in The Shiv Puran) as She's the one who is called Shree....

But why do they break coconut in tradition and waste the natural resource. Instead it should be consumed or given to poor to eat or drink. Because there is a lot of effort by many farmers, and other people hard work involved to get that thing to your plate or in your hand, this applies to any thing we eat. Same way don't through milk on stone gods, just make some rounds with your hand and give it to needy out side the temple, small changes will bring big effects, belive in yourself also along with god

@@abhishekraj5885 In Tamil Nadu, atleast, the thrown coconut is almost never consumed. Plus when you throw it, the water is wasted anyway. In temples, they have a designated corner or a 'thotti' to break coconuts. It stinks of rotten coconut water even though it's usually washed everyday because of the sheer volume of coconuts. You see the shells strewn everywhere. Sometimes they are fed to cows but the majority are just cleaned up and thrown away.
