Courtney got her big start on the Voice Kids as a Rocker in the UK. Her AGT debut was as a rocker. She was a finalist but did not win. She was called back to AGT to perform in a spin-off series competition.

The first and most undeniable thing you notice is how much of herself she puts into everything she does, even more so now that she's not only singing, but writing her own music. Hi. Great Reaction. So cool that you came across Courtney's music. She is amazing. You would have no way of knowing after just one song, but she is truly a generational level talent. Unbelievable vocal power, control and range. You just heard what a gorgeous voice she has, and as you saw in this song, no one sings with more passion and intensity than Courtney. It's almost like she is having a one on one conversation with your heart and soul when she sings this song. No matter how many times you hear it, it rips your heart out. Thought it was pretty observant that you noted she has all the tools to sing great rock and that she could sing just about genre she wanted and that's truly the case. Her vocal versatility is astounding. Courtney is equally great across so many genres including Rock, R&B, Funk, Soul, Ballads and more. The most incredible thing is, whatever the genre, there is never a drop off to the incredible quality of her music. Virtually all artists, even the biggest, have their comfort zone. Inside that zone, they are great, but take them outside that zone, and not so much. We've yet to see where Courtney's comfort zone ends, because she can sing virtually anything exquisitely and when she is singing rock, or some other uptempo tune, no one dominates a stage like she does. You asked for a little background on Courtney. Although she had been singing for a number of years before, she first rose to worldwide fame when she appeared on the 2018 season of America' Got Talent (AGT) when she was just 13. Her audition went viral and now has over 1 billion overall on line views. Courtney herself is closing in on 3 billion views. She has die-hard fans from virtually every country in the world. While on AGT, Courtney sang exclusively classic rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. Courtney was so great on AGT that she was almost immediately signed to a record deal at Syco/Arista records (Sony Music). After AGT, those that knew her from only there, viewed her as this fabulous stage dominating rocker, which she surely is. But, she is so, so much more. As I mentioned above, her range is mind boggling. So in 2019, she released an EP called the 'Cover Sessions', where she took some of the biggest recent hits across different genres, and re-invented them into her vision of the way they could have been sung. They were all sensational. The purpose was to highlight both her incredible vocal versatility and her off the charts creativity. That Courtney is not already a household name is mostly a matter of bad luck regarding timing. There was, of course the Covid pandemic, which delayed her album release for over two years. However, there was more. She was slated to be the youngest performer at the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, but that was ultimately cancelled due to logistic and financial reasons. Then her label was sold, which caused more chaos. Then there was the fact that for years, her label kept trying to turn her into something she said she never wanted to be. Another pop princess. Does that incredible voice you just heard belong limited to pop songs? Fortunately, Courtney stood her ground and, as soon as she could, at the beginning of this year, she left her label and went independent, Courtney has a huge song library that she hasn't been able to release because of the reasons described above, but she has shared many of them, in whole or in part with fans, and they are all sensational. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. Since she has gone independent this year, she has already released four mind blowing originals. Her first three originals were non-rock. They were 'Breakable', a gorgeous gritty ballad, 'That Girl Don't Live Here', an amazing uptempo jazzy number with a touch of almost 1940's Swing and 'Call Me Back', which you reacted to here. All are available on her KZbin channel. The fourth release, 'Monsters', was her first step back into her rock persona. It is a rip roaring number that will blow the roof off of more than a few arenas, and acclaim for it has been almost universal. It's a must hear. 'Monsters' drop just on the 29th of September, so the official music video is not out yet, but the audio version is also available on her KZbin channel. You've got to hear this song, even without the music video. When Courtney is in control of her own destiny, amazing things happen. Now that she's independent, she has said to expect a release every month or two. So buckle up. It's going to be an incredible ride. I can't wait to hear you react to more of Courtney's music. Don't be sorry! Courtney brings passion and emotion that's so relatable more than any other artist coming along. Others will fill in details to this 19 year old wunderkind. You rightly recognized that her voice is so unique and that Courtney can sing every genre. She has many covers that she makes better than the original, but in 2023 she is working toward an album release with 4 originals: 2 ballads and 2 rockers. And whenever she gets back onstage (at 14 she was on the bill for Woodstock50 festival until it canceled), she will have no peer. If you like the Warning--I do too--imagine all their performing energy combined in one wild vocal tornado--that's Courtney Hadwin! You would best react to where she got her first big bump in her 2018 audition on AGT and go from there🙏

Wow! This may have been the absolute best reaction I have ever heard. I have heard everything Courtney and cannot get enough. I have often thought that the one song she missed on was "Call me Back"because I never understood it. You helped me understand what she did with this. COurtney is an AMAZING vocal artist. Her range, both vocally & genre-wise is truly epic, almost limitless. She can go from heart wrenching ballads, to fun and funky Rock, to Gospel, to Jazz, to Pop, to Funk, to Motown, to Opera, to Stage musicals... going down her rabbit hole is a phenomenal journey. It’s actually there’s no service where she’s at. There’s been speculation that maybe she’s the one who’s passed. And the scene of her standing beside the cliff implies suicide. I don’t think Courtney has commented on any of this.
