The girl in the video was the singer's actual girlfriend, now wife, and she wasn't actually pregnant or in a car accident. The reason they had her in the video was because the singer was so dedicated to her that he said he didn't feel comfortable kissing an actress. It makes since because he's known her since they were in elementary school and the guitarist that was on the coffin is actually married to her twin sister, making him and the singer brothers in law.

I sincerely think that this song is Syn's best guitar solo. It's not flashy or technical, but it is so incredibly emotional and beautifully paced, and that pinch harmonic at the end really caps it off. Goosebumps every time.

This is the song that got me into Avenged Sevenfold. Such a good song. I also remember listening to it the day my grandma passed away, I was with my other grandma at the time and she was treating me like a baby, not letting me talk about my grandma that had passed or anything and I knew if I turned on music she'd shut up and leave me alone.
