Dude! Those were so much fun when I was a kid. I had a track set that I loved one Christmas.

Whatever you do, do not leave it in the citrus strip for a couple hours like you would one of the metal cars. It’ll turn the body to goo!I learned that the hard way.

Very cool, bringing back memories of back in the day, with Sizzler's, and the Fat Track, California Oval. 😎👍

Awesome job Paul.Glad to see you using Flitz polish. My dad started the company 46 years ago. Definitely a challenge to repair those cars wouldn’t be like to get back into them as well. when I was younger, I had a big old track with couple cars and chargers. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on the repair.

Very cool!! Looks like it's running slow--Sizzlers used ALL available Fat Track.

Why is this Sizzle running so lumpy and slow..?? put a tab of small W D 40 down in that motor contscts side ....and it will make that car run super fast......And dont get the oil on the rubber slicks though
@lotharrenz4621 Жыл бұрын
looks great again, and pretty fast. ^^ too bad they are hard to get by here in middle europe, another thing they never exported here. anyway, this time it WAS something completely different. ) and it works again, too! reminds me of that old sonic flasher I have sitting around, namely a Ford Sierra fire chief, and it still has some juice left... I should open it before the battery starts leaking. the name you were looking for was "Eleanor". :)

Very nice restoration. You can also use ovencleaner to get the paint off. And you can use 1/2 Viakal blue(lime remover) and 1/2 water to clean the contacts. I restore Corgi Electro Rockets cars. They come with a little DC engine or a Sizzler engine. I have restored over 50 Corgi Electro Rockets cars. You can also make the brushes for the DC motor.

Is there a way to test the cars without a track? I found one at the thrift store but do not have the means to test it.
@pauly7218 Жыл бұрын
just give it a charge and turn it on! No trace needed to run the car. My bet is that it will need a battery.... Good luck...
@AstroHunter5280 Жыл бұрын
@@pauly7218 how do you charge it? All i have is the car
@pauly7218 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, but no. You can get a cheap charger on eBay though
