I love the song - yesterday I listened to it without watching the video, and enjoyed it just as much. Makes you wonder which was written first - the song or the story for the video. It's perfect storytelling. That guitar, though . . .

Ive said this before in other reactions just have to say it again from a guitar players point of view, The pitch bending of the lead guitar has so much emotion, makes it feel like the rest of the instruments are "crying" its so so well done. from 5:08 is great example.

Incredibly, ii himself liked a clip of that drum cover on my Instagram profile today. My head nearly exploded lol. I still can't quite process that. Anyway, I am Irish by nationality, but I lived in several different countries as a child so my accent got warped into this Irish/American/English blend that it is now. Thanks for reaching out!

The video is beautifully done. It's extremely raw without romanticizing anything but also without showing disturbing scenes just for the sake of being edgy. 10/10 for that one. The song is less emotional by itself but I quite enjoyed listening to it without the video. That guitar solo at the end man, holy shit.

I went through the same, couldn't pay a lot of attention to the song because of the video. Let me tell you the song is as brilliant as the clip, specially the lead parts and those freaking slowing down sections.
