As a military mom, I had to put a positive spin on moving every 3 or 4 years. I would present an upcoming move as a new adventure to our kids. I don't know if something like that would help you, but, it made things a little easier for us. Stay strong, you're doing an amazing job!

I’m sorry for the troubles you’re going through. Personally, I think it’s good you feel comfortable opening up to all of us. Crying is good for you. Be true to yourself. You are taking one day at a time. These days it’s enough for most of us. God bless you! 🙏

You’re doing great from cleaning to being a great mom. Have just found your channel about a month ago and I’m impressed with all that you are doing. Keep your head high and God bless you!

I totally relate to the moving stress. I am also currently living with my Ex as well. We are civil and get along, but I also felt it was best to go our seperate ways to be able to continue to grow individually. I even made a commitment to myself to be single for a year to build strength and trust within myself. I just want to show up for myself. It's where I am in my journey. So, now I am moving into an apartment in about 2 weeks and I am freaking out about my financially stability. This is the most affordable place I have been able to find and it is very small for me and my son. It's 980.00 a month, but that price does include the heat, water, and trash. I have to pay electricity and internet seperate. 😢 So I feel your pain, but we will be ok though! We both can do tough things, right?! I know I'm gonna try to make the best of it! I hope you do to! I plan to purge a lot of stuff too. This might actually end up being a blessing in disguise! Lol I know it's going to be hard to let things go! 😅

Thank you for being so real and honest. You are incredibly brave. I absolutely get the grief of a relationship. I was blindsided by the end of my 20yr marriage and have spent 3yrs dealing with it all. It takes so much energy to deal with the relationship feelings. I may be older than many of your followers but you are speaking about things I have experienced as well. You are doing so great!

Grieving the loss of a home and a life is a real thing. It can stir up some powerful emotions. You'll make it through this. Bit by bit You'll get there and look back at all of this and be stronger for it. ❤😊

Look at that sink! 😍 My heart goes out to you. So many changes and decisions right now, but one step at a time. Your videos are very encouraging. I hope you can feel us cheering you on! ❤️

Great video! Thanks for sharing your struggles. I hope you know that even though moving is hard, your son will become more resilient and he will see how you frame it. If you tell him it’s a fresh start for great new opportunities in both your lives, that might help him see the positive. That’s not to downplay the hard parts or pretend like it’s all good. You both will go through the good and bad together and be stronger from the journey. He’s lucky to have you. Life is messy but if we have family who love us unconditionally then we can make it through the mess and hopefully have some joy along the way. Hugs. 😊❤

Thank you so much for the advice❤️ it's definitely hard to see the bright side right now, but i think it'll be good for both of us to frame it that way!

Welcome to freedom. Congratulations on your accomplishments. As much as we'd like to, we cannot shield our children from hurts and hard times, whether it's because of our own choices, or theirs in the future. That being said, it all adds up to forming their character and teaching them life lessons. Be of good cheer. Your son will be ok. Maybe you can wear a happier shirt for your KZbins for us to look at.

Hey Libby, depending on where you are looking to live in an apartment, they have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments in my neighborhood, Section 8, which goes by your income. Maybe that something you could look into? Just depends on where you want to live. I am 69 and live in an income-based one bedroom apartment - just for me, paying $304/month starting next month. I am retired, so they go by my Soc.Sec. Wish I really help you look for an apartment, because I am the QUEEN of looking for them - I have lived in loads of them throughout my life, and the one I am in now is the best ever for me. I am praying that you and your son find a place to call home soon!! Love ya!

Are you sure that you want to end the relationship? Is it unable to be repaired? Did the two of you try counseling? I feel very badly for you both and your son. I was a single mother of five kids. It is sooooo hard. My ex husband became a drug addict and it was horrible. I finally got the courage to leave. Raising my kids alone was more difficult than I can tell you. All I can say is I wish you well.

I’ve been watching some of your videos and I do understand you have to empty your storage for example but apart from that you’re almost always tackling stuff with high emotional value to you. Is it possible for you to start with easier objects like kitchen for example? That way it get’s easier with the decision process and you strengthen your ”decluttering muscles” as you go.
