It’s crazy how the team put in the dedication to make the femc fit in naturally in the game and keep almost everything she had from P3P, the only thing she doesn’t have is the social links and I’ll have no clue if that be possible to put in given how many are different and how in reload all the links are voice acted-they could get actors for the characters exclusive to links like Rio and Saori, but they aren’t gonna obviously be able to get the actual voice actors of any of the party members. And they aren’t using ai voices afaik which is good cause that crap is scummy-yet the thing people choose to complain about instead is a skirt? I understand clipping in modern games is bad but this is a mod and it’s the ONLY issue. It’s so minimal and doesn’t take away everything else from this mod, people just love to complain it seems.

I'd volunteer to VA for any female-character social link they need for FREE. I love Minako THAT much.

@@thebestastronot even if they have the ability to add the social links it is highly unlikely that they will be added back. the femc mod is a modification to characters model with appropriate story adjustments. adding in those social links requires the creation of completely new scenarios for the game. not only that but some of those scenarios would also result in real story changes not just text changes. they would have to create the 3d animations for all the new social links, without reference since p3p was a visual novel. when atlas said that adding femc to the game would be like creating a new game they were not joking. if it took the mod team 6 months to get to this point it would probably take them decades to create all of the social links and get them into a somewhat function spot.

@@mattgibson9337 1. It won't take decades but yes it will take a long time. 2. We have already started looking into the possibility of them being added, I have not said that they WILL be added but people will surely try once social links are cracked. Where there's a will there's a way.

Back then, teen dating was fine because japan age of consent was 13. If they do port katone SL, ken will be problem now since they changed age of consent to 16. Western audience would not take it well as well if a teacher want to date female student compared to want to date male student, they will be dealing with angry mob in no time. Understand why atlus didn't want to include her ?

The skirt thing sounds really difficult to fix, so maybe they could just give her trousers instead. It obviously wouldn’t be completely faithful to the original, but I think it’s a good compromise.

It's not for me to say since I'm not really the target audience of the mod. But I do wonder if the ppl who want femc in their game would be okay with it. Honestly tho, u could already do that, there should be many non skirt options that come with the mod.

I just can't believe how far the femc mod team have gotten. Not even six months out from release and they've accomplished so much. I'm really interested to see how this project will shape out a few years from now. Even if the skirt never gets fixed, its still a really good high quality mod that makes it feel like your playing as Femc

@@redmage5251but it technically is as reload contains the persona 3 story and its epilogue the answer. Femc is alternate universe so technically not necessary and isn’t required for a definitive persona 3 remake.

I know Atlus has a tendency to release Releases of already popular games, but if they plan on creating a version of P3R with FeMC and the dlc included, it just might be the best remaster done. (Assuming they don’t make new DLC of just new outfits)

My other issue with this mod is Kotone model herself, don't get me wrong, I know 3D modelling especially for modding games is hard. Is just is still far from her design, although looking for far is good enough. I do know that the team is working to made her looks better so I can't wait for the improvement. Good work for the team !

This video feels very misleading. The skirt is definitely a hurdle but it is making good progress in being fixed. The lead will soon man an animation rig for Kotone for anyone to make animations for, meaning that everyone is open to help out and make new animations for Kotone. This isn’t an impossible wall that they will need more budget to solve, it’s just a simple issue that more people will need to work on. Other things are going very well too, including event editing being cracked, and cutscenes progress going well. I feel like this video tries too much to be negative without really understanding all the details of the mod, of which can be seen in their discord

Yeah, the mod's not in the most complete state. The animations are one thing, but also the voice acting needs to be changed for every instance of male pronouns. The only options are to splice in AI, or find a sound-alike. They've done the latter with Shinji, and it's very jarring. The FemC social Links haven't been implemented yet either. All of the FemC exclusive link characters need models and portraits, and voice acting. Then the menu splash effects and UI coloration still need touching up... There's a lot left to be done. Right now, this mod is little more than a model swap, which doesn't even look great due to the model's legs clipping through half the outfits. I like that this mod exists, don't get me wrong, and they've done a lot more than unpaid amatuer fans would be expected to, but the important stuff that would make this more than just a model swap is also the most difficult and time consuming.

Not only that, they complain about a skirt the dev can't fix because of technical issue and accusing it as political correctness, even though the same mod has a bikini costume. I can't fathom how stupid people are.
