ツAjinkc the harder a material is, the more brittle it becomes. the softer a material, the more resistant it is. that’s why many smartphone screens as of late can survive a 5ft drop but get scratched by the tiniest bit of pocket lint. so yes, there is always a trade off. edit: softer = more resistant to drops and better shock absorption* not scratching.

Funny enough, I did a in store camera comparison on their 11 Pro Max's ultra wide angle lens compared to the one on my M2P. When I zoomed in on the photo my M2P still had more clarity after I zoomed as far as I could... Considering my phone came out in late 2018, and still beats Apple's newest phones camera, I'm pretty happy lol
