It stopped in the middle of the runway in Terceira island. This runway was prepared for emergency space shuttle landings. They were very fortunate to find an abnormal long runway on a small island in the middle of the Atlantic.

Spoilers are prohibited on the final approach sequence. Also due to loss of engine power. it won't work as without fuel APU also wont turn on. it does have an emergency backup but it only works for emergency instruments and lighting for a short time.
