In Sweden we have quite a good cousine overall I would say, especially when i comes to seafood. But... after following Danny for a year I realize that we are way behind when it comes to take a way food. In Eng u seem to compete with each other to have the best possible taste and offer/bang for the buck, but in SWE it's like stalemate between the big chains or your regular street corner citchen. Simple stuff like seasoning on the different size chips... well as an example... forget it if u don't ask for it specifically. I envy u Eng guys.

Oh no ! I love Danny and watch this channel all the time. I also have the t shirts and sweatshirts, He seems such a genuine decent bloke especially with his interface with the public. I recall him giving the bottle of water to that desperate bloke in London. However that parking on the zig zags was utterly selfish. Small kids use that crossing and the traffic cannot see them if that black van is badly parked. Very sadly, that is me unsubscribed. The sweatshirt is in the bin.

The amount that Danny eats in his videos is just bang on. You don't need to eat more than that on any meal. I know he'll probably eat more later, but I can't help it thinking the amount he eats is just perfect. I keep trying myself to eat just that amount - You get the flavour of everything, the taste, the goodness and then you're just full enough to enjoy the rest of the day.

It is not so much the amount but the total calories. Counting calories really made massive difference for me, first time i did not have to suffer to lose weight. Plenty vids talk about that so you can get an idea on average how many calories you need per day and stick to that (or go to calorie deficit to lose weight)

Lol most takeaways are in locations where people not traditionally British have settled. Obviously you'll get British Asians and people born here so they are British. But they still live often in more working class, run down areas. You don't get many takeaways in rural places. But I'm sure they exist. Danny goes where the takeaways are and the vast majority of takeaways are in highly populated towns where the standard of living is lower and the houses are cheaper. That's why the parents or the grandparents of the people opening these takeaways settled there in the first place. Or it might be a takeaway run by someone who's just come over here. But the costs are lower to open up a takeaway in a bit of a sh*t hole 🤣

Every time I do the math from GBP to USD for a lot of these restaurants that Danny reviews, the prices for takeaway in England are insane. It's very costly compared to where I live in Ohio. Many times as a family of three, we do a bang bang, or gang bang meaning we buy the takeaway at 2, 3, or 4 different places to take advantage of coupons & special pricing via phone apps. It's a great way to save money while dining out. Locally, there's no meals tax on takeaway food but there's a 7.25% tax if you dine inside any restaurant at a table plus a tip for your server of at least 15-22% based on quality of service. Some places are takeaway only so you have the option to leave a gratuity but it's common to give them a dollar or two if they put a jar on the service counter

If you want a "The Grill Co." You want to go to the one on Harehills Lane. The one in burley I've had nothing but bad experiences.
