Agreed. We've had 25 Saab vehicles. Our highest mileage is a 2006 9-3 Aero. Has 292k miles. Factory clutch went out at 292k on the dot. Managed to limp it home 20 miles in 3rd gear. Engine runs beautifully. The 2.8 engine is flawless. Smooth power and awesome reliability. Run a quality oil in them and they will run forever.

Saabs are really easy to tune, the 2.3t and 2.0t are really easy to tune and map. They are one of the most common tuner cars her in Sweden where i live. Just map the 2.3t and you can get 260hp nemas problemas for 100 bucks or for free if you can map it yourself

The best way to bid adios to this car is by replacing the engine oil with liquid nitrogen and/or dry ice and driving/abusing it around the block until it finally dies. Once it dies, you can use a hammer to scrap the engine into tiny pieces right in your shop. Feed, Drive and Recycle!!!! Good Luck to Gavin and team! :D:D:D
