I'd rather get that antenna. Being colorblind is really not fun at all. I only see shades from yellow to red to purple. No idea what for example green or blue look like. It's just a different shade of red for me. And those who claim they'd rather be colorblind have NO IDEA how difficult it is to for example: Go shopping, drive a car (practically impossible), go see a movie, play video games (thankfully many devs put colorblind options now so it works out,) even cleaning the house is sometimes difficult because some things just blend into their surroundings. Can't wait for some future tech to fix me :(
@SpencerFcp8 жыл бұрын
Why would driving a car be difficult? I can get why it might be hard learning....but I'm assuming you can just look at position of street lights. Plus all signs have writing on them. I'm legitimately curious, not questioning you.
@80WooR8 жыл бұрын
SpencerFcp As possible as it is to learn your way around traffic with deficiencies in seeing colors, it's not a very safe way to move around. A bus is fine too. Sure I might be able to learn my way around traffic and signs etc but I would never do that at the expense of another persons' safety. I don't think anyone would want to drive the same streets with someone who has a significantly higher chance to make mistakes than your average "bad driver".

There's a big difference between wearing a smart watch and having one implanted into your body. Once something is implanted it becomes apart of you and you can no longer detach yourself from the device. We already know if the data collection and breaches of big companies with our devices, you would then be giving a big part of your very inner self to these cooperation ls, advertisers would literally own you and your very thought process. When it comes to planting unnatural objects into your body science should take a step back and we as people must set boundaries as to how far science can be pushed.. You might say that these antanea or what ever are enhancing these people's lives, but at what cost? Becoming a cyborg is giving up certain parts of your humanity, how far will this go? Until we're part human and part machine? Robots are primarily used to program and be controlled.. Humans will be giving up huge sectors of thier freedom, ability, privacy and concious to these high tech, AI companies and who knows how it will be used against us.

I've seen this video when I was in high school boat five six years ago and seeing it again now gives me a whole new perspective on it coming from the age where are we now have Google Glass Alexis and her home and Google home Minis. And it's growing every day as I spoke my I picked up and asked me if I had a question shows it when you have a heads-up display on the left side of my glasses and a smartwatch and an insulin meter. Worlds changing I remember having a Walkman on my hip when I was little and using streetlights on long drives to light the screen . Now I am the dam screen

They didn't go into detail about how the procedure did make more sensitive to shading (since he can only see in black and white), and it's relation to the actual color. To the point where he actually started to dream IN color because the device was relating colors to him as sounds. The problem, which he, nor the doctor understood, is that they got the colors backwards. He is hearing RED as an F-natural, but, it's actually C-natural is like red (it is also square-shaped, by they way). For green F-natural, think of the Bach pastorals, or Beethoven's Pastoral symphony. Classical pastorals, or country-side music, were written in F and F#. // No, Niel Harbisson's pitches blend up the rainbow from F, and it ends on E, which they have as Magenta, but really E is Yellow (almost the opposite color). Like, for example, in Fleetwood's Mac's "Mystified," Christine McVie sings in orange-yellow (E-flat) at bridge-section: "The light that shines around you, it blinds my eyes. There's a magic surrounds you. Tell me where your secret lies." So, she's singing not about sunlight (white light) but a person's aura, inner-light. Which would be E-flat and E. But Niel is hearing that color energy in the OPPOSITE sense (or at least one tone away form being the opposite pitch of the actual color). But this is a good start. He's kind of a Saint to have had the vision and courage to have the pitch-implanted into his skull. (I think the pitches resonate to a bone, not his brain itself, as i was reading).
