Yeah the only time ive seen a cop hold a carbine was when me and my roomates got pulled over due to some road rager calling the cops and saying we were flashing guns around. The cops then pulled us over we had 2 squad cars roll in front of us and about 3 in the back then they told us to keep our hands on the roof and they got us to leave the van 1 by 1 so they could check the van for weapons. As i got asked to step out of the car i saw 2 cops holding carbines. Idk how much more they were since i didnt really look away from the one dude with a gun that was shaking. I was so scared he might shoot because of how shaky he looked. We got let off after about an half an hour. When they made sure we had nothing on us and that the call was a lie. This was like a decade ago. Since i was still a teen when it happened.
