Saul defrosting from the heat of the fire and surviving is NOT a Mickey, As Chopper said you have to defrost slowly to keep the person safe. Saul wasn't defrosted safely and that's why Saul lost his leg and is covered in scars.

Well the entire prospect of him being alive when he was supposed to be dead is mostly Mickey because it’s one piece. We know Oda and his fake out deaths, and even if this one was done well, it still leaves a somewhat sour taste with a lot of fans. Immediately after that arc they went to Zou where they only spent a couple days and then the crew split and Usopp ended up in Wano selling snake oil until Luffy's group arrived. All this is happening in a way shorter time than you think. Usopp is a normal human who only just unlocked his observation Haki a month ago, and he hasn't had much chances to hone it. He probably doesn't even yet understand what he did on Dressrosa. Usopp needs someone to push him on this, a teacher.

Because he is kuzan's close friend so it's justifiable if we assume kuzan only froze saul lightly + it's on a burning island + saul is a vice admiral with enough strength to break out if the ice was melted enough.

Being able to withstand fire long enough for someone to defrost and land in the water ain't a stretch at all considering the fact he was frozen somewhere near the water

Jay it's not mickey but will say the moment in robin flash back is different. If fire and ice mix what happens the ice melt and burn. Chopper wasn't wrong if you want to thaw out someone careful without getting frostbite or losing limbs you must thawed them carefully. In Saul case a ISLAND IS ON FIRE and he was in Ice what do you think would happen. He was caught on fire and was next to the ocean like brother this is not mickey. You can say oh still not sure about saul being alive will agree. This is not mickey I'm losing my mind. Also Saul wouldn't be able to write to robin 1. He was in elbaf news travel would take years. 2. WHERE would saul know about robin movement so wouldn't be able to message her. 3. Saul still fits in that category, even if ‘Oda gave himself an out.’ Having an out is not the point. It’s the fact that he utilizes the tragedy of a situation without commuting to its consequences.

It doesn't invalidate the fact that from that moment till she met the Strawhats that Robin was living decades alone in the world. The pain of loss was still there, she had no idea until recently that he survived so she lived on assuming everyone she cared about was gone forever. Saul's survival has not made that scene any less impactful, but I can't say the same for Pell or Kinemon
