I used to wonder that too, but I learned over time that wicked people don't appreciate the sacrifices made for them. Appreciation is something they fake to look good. It isn't a big deal for them to take from others because they feel entitled. It doesn't even cross their minds how precious another person's own life and happiness is to them. The only person they are loyal to is their self. I know that sounds cold, but it's the truth.
