12:30 the way the dungeon is layed out is based on the intro talking about the kingdom that was sunk beneath the ground. You can see at the time stamp they were showing the castle that was sunk by the magician, and the entrance to the dungeon brings you in right near the top of the castle. As you descend the "levels" of the dungeon, you're just going down through the castle itself, then into the town that used to surround the castle, etc. It's why there's trees and other life down there, since it used to all be above ground.

Oh cool, you starting Delicious in Dungeon? Having read the manga, it is one of the most tightly written stories I have read. The characters give off strange first impressions, but everything makes more sense in time. Hope you enjoy it! Edit: I am not sure, but I suspect that the subtitles you used for the episode might be the subtitles for the English dub, rather than the Japanese. If you are getting this from Netflix, you will want to use "English" subtitles instead of "English (cc)" subtitles.

I am so happy that you're starting Delicious in Dungeon. It's one of my top manga and the anime is a superb adaption. It has a slow start, but the story just keeps getting better and better. The peaks don't stop coming! Marcille is my favorite, I hope you like her too.

This is my favourite manga of all time and the adaptation is amazing, so I'm glad more and more people are catching on.

@@Pawsanime Great to hear. The manga has a lot of content that the anime couldn't realistic put in, like the end of chapter monster ecology, or side stories to flesh out character interactions that don't happen in the story or some backstories. The anime is a great adaptation, don't get me wrong, but by the nature of the medium isn't as complete, so even reading the manga after watching the anime still has a lot to give.

Oh your new model is Lovely! 😍 The show is unique from other food animes I have seen that feature food, (And there are no strippers like in food wars lol) the food is pretty much ALL from the Dungeon, looks weird but tastes good. Also the main character Laios I believe its implied that he has ADHD which is why he was spacing out in the beginning. 13:19 "How do you eat living armor?"...About that..😅
