A traditional, rustic Jamaican soup this soup is made with the bull's private parts and is supposed to have special benefits ;-) especially for the males. Please let me know if you tried this recipe.

Greetings to you from the UK. We've (my husband and I)' been watching a lot of your videos. My husband has just lost his mum of 84 after a relatively short illness. He says that your son is very lucky to have these recipes documented for all to see and learn from. Many British born young Jamaicans have not learnt to cook these dishes and will be lost thru' the annals of time. Your son has provided a valuable pieece of history even though you are in the USA.

We love your videos, especially the dahl one for us Indians😊, and of course your husband and the twins. We always put your videos on and watch when we go to our 88 year old mum's house every week! Keep up the good work.

That soup looks delicious, my mom used to make cow foot soup, I really don't remember having the cod with it. I want to make some chicken soup but can you imagine yellow yam is $5.00 per pound. Enjoy your soup.

Imagine that. Last week it was $6 a pound. Once the farms are back in production in Jamaica, I hope it will go down here.

This soup looks so good and warming! Cow foot and those parts of the bull aren’t too hard to find in Central California where we’re lucky to have lots of Latino and Asian in the mix (and lots of dairy and beef cattle) but almost always frozen and from bigger animals. I’ll be looking harder from now on! I’ve seen all the vegetables but breadfruit in Asian markets so maybe I’ll be able to make something like it. Thanks for sharing - the comments show that it was one of the comfort foods of childhood.
