The cornmeal porridge with the cream style corn is a must try for me. Sunday brunch along with those fritters. You make me want to try new things ☺☺
Aunty Pauline, you and one other lady in Jamaica can cook, hands down. Long time good traditional Jamaican cooking. Love the cream corn in the porridge, must tell my husband to try it. The only thing I’ve to use coconut milk in my porridge. I told these nowadays cooks that tomato goes in fritters, they look at me like I’m crazy. My mom was a great cook and I know you can cook without tasting the food. I just started watching you and I’ve to tell ppl about you because I learned a couple from you to seal my deal. I’m a good cook and know how good suppose to taste. Never commented this longing

Hello Auntie Pauline, Breakfast is served. My kind of breakfast. I also love my cornmeal porridge thick, without the corn. Each to their own. The saltfish fritters your way looks good too. I do not put tomatoes, and i use onions as well as spring onions, a.k.a scallions. On a whole level, your breakfast looks delicious. Thanks for sharing another amazing dish. Have a great weekend, you and hubby, and your family. Stay warm. Bless up.🇬🇧💕

Love watching you cook Auntie Pauline that cornmeal porridge is just the way I like it, thick, that’s how I use to get it at school for lunch some days with a piece of hard doo bread on top, can’t forget those days, happy cooking 👍👏😄❤️

Did you get corn in it ?
@m.theresa1385Ай бұрын
Wow! I forgot how we’d tear bread and butter and put it on top of our porridge, both on the oatmeal and cornmeal (my dad’s favorite). Sometimes it’d get made with water and evaporated milk, or condensed milk to sweeten it - and a cinnamon stick in the pot to flavor it. I guess I’m making cornmeal porridge tomorrow. We never put canned cream corn in the porridge, I’ll have to try it someday. Cheers !
