I think you are using the strap wrench wrong. You are supposed to adjust the wrench on the hole saw,and feed the excess rubber into the wrench handle.

As a lock Smith I have found if you place a thin flat washer between the hole saw and the arbor. This makes it much easier to loosen the hole saw from the arbor. Because this divides the friction between the arbor and hole saw. you can use gloves and a pair of your favorite channel lock pliers. Thank you for another great video.

Next time you use your hole saw.. Don't tighten it to much. Just snug is fine. will make a massive difference.. Also Strap wrenches are great but your using it incorrectly.

Yes,the directions that came with my wrench tells you how to use it.

You are not properly using the strap wrench so you are wasting a lot of time wrapping the rubber strap around the hole saw.
