born and raised in the Netherlands, it still amazes me how much differences there are even though i'm probably no more than 200-300 miles away we deep fry a lot of stuff too, but it's mostly meaty and cheesy snacks (and oliebollen around new years) mccain (not the politician lol) still sells those smileys in the freezer department over here too, we do have lamb-weston twisters too but never heard of turkey twizzlers. turkey isn't all that popular here, probably because we don't keep many turkeys.. whereas the usa has absolute tons of turkey meat, never even seen turkey bacon where i'm from either, pretty sure the popularity is directly related to an era of overproduction :D if this video is any accurate, you'd assume turkey twizzlers got popular somewhere in the late 80s the UK, lasting throughout the early nineties, as the UK's turkey production started ramping up to the worlds 4th place in production volume, and maintained that position for almost a decade orso kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2qteKB6ect_ma8

99.9% of the time yes , but if you haven't seen it yet go watch the video review he does of the pizza box with crispy burger with warts on it , crispy pizza, sausage , fish , onion rings e.t.c. He even did a podcast on it for how bad that takeaway was all the way up in Scotland, felt for him travelling all that way for that disaster they call a takeaway there, should have got a refund imo. They should be ashamed of themselves selling him that kind of food for £13 in that state , rip off and didn't look up to food hygiene standards soon as he opened the box, it supposedly stunk of nothing but greasy fat aswell and im no expert i admit that, but i know when food served like that is not fit to eat , like he said in that video food review he wouldn't even give that to the dog and neither would I. Can't believe the food hygiene inspector people haven't closed it if that is what they keep serving peopke for £13 , someone in the food industry needs to checkout tgat take away like danny and see if they get the same , if so even i know that place isn't fit to be open serving there so called crispy box takeaways. Feeds a family , i don't see any family eating or touching that, digusting food service .

Takes me back to my childhood staple of fish finger sandwiches, which in our house was the after-school meal of choice in the 1970s. @@KaninBunny I disagree 100% - and so does every one of the UK's Fire and Rescue Services and every one of the UK's accident prevention organisations. For several decades they have regarded the 'chip pan' (ie. an open saucepan with a basket inside) as SO dangerous, as to recommend that people immediately throw them out. If you look at any of their websites, you will see them advise that, if people feel that they NEED to deep fry, to instead use an enclosed thermostatically controlled, purpose built, deep fat fryer, and to follow due instructions for same and watch the frying process throughout. The behaviour of celebrity chefs on television is being blamed for a resurgence in chip pan use across the UK in recent years, as of now, chip pans are causing a fifth of all domestic fires in the UK, and thousands of consequential deaths and injuries .
