​@@wienerschnitzel1739I will say that the mons who did get banned with Triage as a big proponent likely would've been anyway, as Luna could run SoR and Libero for insane wallbreaking, Unaware under screens made it really hard to break as well. Iron Hands was CRAZY with access to Guts and Iron Fist, and AV sets were incredibly annoying with Regen Volt Switch. I want Triage banned because it's cheap as all hell and I stole the Gloking idea from getting swept on ladder lmao

You should use well-baked body on scizor, it's not gonna be using fire attacks, so you should take that defense boost!

Idk if anyone else commented it, but the reason Dragonite is banned is due to Aerilate. It doesn't have a good flying STAB, but 80 bp E-speed with 1.5x STAB with a 1.2 boost too, AND +2 priority made it way too broken

At 20:30, you didn't misclick, it was a error on on Showdown's side. Automatically defaults to a switch in sometimes for some unknown reason. I don't think it's related to "Skip to End" because I never use that button, but still get the glitch from time to time.

i would say heatrans type matchups going from good to excellent is an understatement. it goes from broken to god-tier. heatran already had QUAD resistance to fairy, bug, ice, steel, grass, along with fire and poison immunity. thats almost half the types that can literally never touch heatran, not even mentioning resists like flying and dragon.

​@@nomongosinthaworldNormally I'd completely disagree, but because of how absolutely busted Fire can be in AAA (Desolate Land, Drought, Orichalcum Pulse had to be banned, etc.) it actually does hurt a little bit. However, this is completely mitigated by the absolutely annoyingly atrocious WBB Corviknight that singlehandedly makes the tier twice as annoying, making Heatran just a little less viable overall due to being slightly outperformed and completely walled by it

Off topic but seeing you mention shadow ball and it’s importance to ghost type really made think how TPCI should give Dragon Claw a 20% chance to lower defense. The type with some of the most fierce physical attackers shouldn’t have to use a move that locks you in and confuses you (outrage).

These themed teams handicap you too much in monotype. So I think bringing it over to AAA or Nat dex is the way to go. Themed team suggestion. All Bear team. Ursaluna, urshifu, bewear, pangoro, beartic, ursaring

Air Slash does not count for Wind Rider, but it IS affected by Sharpness lol. I believe it's one of those things where the Japanese translation creates a weird interpretation.

Really interesting idea, and there's already a lot of good ones in the comments but i got a really bad one- give mons that don't have a 4x weakness a 4x weakness. like a dry skin wo-chien so that you're extra weak to fire, or fluffy corv. there's probably not enough abilities for that to work though, maybe just a full team with drawback abilities? or maybe immune to all status; limber, thermal exchange, immunity, etc. again idk if there are enough tho also i made an appearance at 4:37 lesss gooooooo

Pretty sure the Salazzle's Mold Breaker meant that it ignored Thick Fat, Mold Breaker ignores abilities which effect whether a move works or how much damage it does (not sure about a stat lowering move into say Clear Body, but it should work).

You should make a team where the whole team has almost no weaknesses. For example, you could do a dark poison type with levitate or a dark ghost type with bullet proof because most of the fairy moves you would be clicking would be moonblast ect, ect.

Purifying salt isn't banned iirc, just that the only mon that would work for this vid would be Hoopa which is just bad without some sort of speed boosting ability like Surge Surfer, or SFLO for big damage under TR

Yeah, it's not banned. Hoopa had way more special bulk than I expected (80/130!) so it could maybe benefit from Purifying Salt on an AV set or something.

Id suggest trying out aerialate with facade and a flame orb Originally got this idea from radical red's aerialate swellow but it aint out yet in aaa so id suggest using scyther for speed and uturn or salamence for better typing

Wind Rider only makes you immune to “wind” moves, which is a new sub-classification, kind of like sound. Looks like he expected Hurricane to come out, but it used air slash instead, which is not a wind type move
