3 years later with Gen 9 Kommo-o has only gotten stronger. With tera steel or ghost, Overcoat to negate Spore and Sandstorm/Hail chip damage and Clear Amulet to prevent stat drops, This pokemon is so cool. It has all the tools for it to be great and it's very versatile.

You guys definitely did not know all of the mechanics one some of these abilities worked and the flippant use of "objectively" makes me very upset on a personal level, but the vibes were so good that I enjoyed the heck out of it anyway.

Tough claws best ability to increase damage output apart from the weather abilities and terrain is a combination of sharpness iron fist and strong jaw in one one step up and stab moves do insane damage like mega charizard x with dragon dance with dragon claw and flare blitz annd more versatility to also boost non stab hadron engine and oricalchum pulse best abilities if is basically drought and electric surge with intrepid sword in one magic bounce and purifying salt best anti status abilties because magic bounce not only reflects status conditions and things like parting shot and intimidate also reflects back entry hazards and purifying salt better than good as gold because it makes the nacly line immune to status conditions and also the ones from secondary effectd where as good as gold may be gholdengo immune to status moves and also immunity to things like defog and helping hand but doesnt block status conditions from secondary effects and entry hazards

i love using a mixed lucario and hydreigon set, with how much special coverage they get with a good physical set as well, they both shine as a good example for a mixed attacker. with lucario getting moves like bullet punch cc flash cannon and something like dark pulse and eq for coverage with work up nasty plot or sd for set up options and all that, and hydreigon just having both of the best heavy hitting dragon moves, having d dance and nasty plot as its set up options, theres no bad option for them both being mixed, physical or special attackers.

I tried showdex recently (I'm a very new player), but decided to uninstall the plugin after a few matches. The speed which it allows you to do calcs meant that I used it for probably around 85% of my turns; which sadly made my matches far less exciting and made me feel less engaged, as I kept referring to the plugin whenever I was making a choice.

02:57:00 wellbaked body gives you fire immunity. water compaction does not give you water immunity. Also steely spirit always boosts your steel type attacks, you dont need partners. Also in triage you have to assume you get healing moves.

Nahhh imma run my Shuckle with stealth rocks and sticky webs and then run 5 sweepers like flutter mane, Dracovish, Kingambit. All with max speed and attack 😂 idk about showdown format but what I play it works very well. I’ll beat about 95% of match ups (Not max speed on king gambit. Swords dance sucker punch with max attack and bulk)
