About the Teacher vs ADHD part in the video: Dude my teacher and this was when I was a bit older already like around 14-16 years old made straight up fun of me infront of class. I had such trouble remembering to even write down that we had homework that my mom actually gave me a note that I was to give my teachers that said "Could you please check if they wrote it down?". It was all polite and everything. And what did this... female person do? Read it out loud infront of class. The bad thing for her was that the director of the school really liked me as a student as I was always just trying to pay attention when I could and also was one of the nicer kids in school. So I straight up, without giving a crap, went to her directly to complain about this treatment. Lo and behold the director who also taught that kind of class specifically, switched herself in for the other teacher.

I used to work for a “hospital” (more like prison/giant daycare) for people who were deemed too mentally ill to stand trial A lot of the people there are strange/ medically zombified, but also a lot of them you would never expect to be murderers. I’d say a good 50/50 split and if you mind your own business nobody will attack you Also there are no jail cells and it looks almost like a low tier hotel. A locked door followed by hallway. Each hallway had a certain amount of rooms with multiple beds/patients per room Two large bathrooms per unit and a room with a TV and coloring stuff (flimsy pens that aren’t dangerous) One of the more wealthy patients even had a tv and a ps2 in his room. Nothing newer than that though because it can’t have wifi access(ps2 requires an adapter to access wifi), and everything like that is special ordered from a catalogue of see through items It wasn’t that bad there for them. Much better than prison I imagine. And I haven’t said anything specific about the patients so I’m 100% safe with what I have said. Then again I only worked at one of the hospitals, others could be worse

A decent few exercise strict schedules, electroshock "therapy", bars on the windows, etc. Had a family member who was locked in one in North Carolina, and when he was able to get out, he was so horribly depressed and resents the place. I also was put in one when I had attempted suicide. There was no TV in the rooms, no entertainment, a total of maybe 30 books to read. It was the worst experience ever and only has fueled that desire to commit. Shit sucks.

As far the parent teacher conference stuff goes, I was the same as Pyro. Told I couldn’t stay focused. At one point I had a teacher that was so bad, she put my desk up facing a wall with my back to the hallway/door where kids would go in and out, and then would scold me for looking over to see who was there, and I was often told off by teachers just for being anti-social and not having very good social skills

Going on the adhd bit. My first grade teacher wanted to move me from his class to a special ed class cause he said I had issues with paying attention and following instructions. Thing is he couldn’t cause I had good grades, therefore he kinda would treat me not so great for the rest of the year. My counselors advised my parents that I should see some sort of therapist or something, but my parents refused cause they didn’t want me to take any medication.
