This Tower Auto-Wins, But There's A Catch! (Bloons TD 6)

The Tier 5 Bloon Crush in BTD6 is one of the best stalling towers in the game and while it can handle almost everything the game throws at you, it has so little damage that it makes the rounds last far longer than they normally would. That's why Ninja Kiwi recently decided to try and fix this aspect by giving it more damage, but let's see if the changes are enough to speed up the game in Bloons TD 6!

I can point out that bottom crosspath isn't designed for blimps. Take it from somebody who provides the Challenge code ZFMTOMU. I would welcome the frags getting to inflict very minor stun, so that middle crosspath still will be better for the blimps as a whole, but bottom crosspath would be getting some form of utility. And Bloon Impact in general should get to inflict extremely brief stun to MOABs in general as well so that it's less of a junk upgrade even if the M3+ Bomb would still be preferred in general for blimps.

Bloon Crush, Superstorm and the Beast Handler have the problem of not being good enough for late game, too expensive for Early Game and not versatile enough to be a go-to midgame tower, so ultimately nobody uses them consistently

Actually superstorm is better than bloon crush as unlike bloon crush it has atleast some dmg and the build up is easier as it can atleast somewhat deal with moabs unlike bloon impact. Oh and it has a built in camo detection (1k to 4k money saved depending on map chosen). It also has some more bad dmg compared to measly 24 per shot from bloon crush. Druid is also much better base tower having a cheap MIB popping and more dmg overall compared to bomb shooter. IMO making it cheaper from like 75k on gard difficulty makes it reliable lategame. It won't solo a bad tho but most towers can't do that anyway so being able to deal some dmg to it + clear the insides is good enough for me. (just get a first strike for the bad and win)

There's some niche cases where Superstorm is pretty useful, but it's def not a go-to for like- 98% of CHIMPS runs.

Beast handler is really good at every part of the game in a chimps run but people just find it annoying to merge and hate micro

If you want the real dream team for the Crush: Embrittlement Ice. The crush tends to stack bloons up that the embrittlement can use it's full pierce. Elite Defender also deserves respect, as the defender tends to pop bloons down one at a time so the crush doesn't get overwhelmed, and it's great for catching leaks.

they need to make the frags stun, maybe not the full duration but at least a little. I think that actually having different stun values allows it to keep things back but still let them stack up, and it makes it harder for bloons to sneak past the explosion radius between shots and overall keeps the bloons back more

That's actually a very good idea. This should apply for Bloon Impact as well because that tower level is a joke against blimps, not that you'd be getting bottom crosspath on Bloon Impact for blimps but I'd definitely appreciate SOMETHING. And I don't think it would be a ridiculous buff to the Sauda/Bloon Crush combination at that because the frags would likely be hitting things away from her.

Going middle path rather than bottom path is way better. Did a run very similar to this on chimps without needing to buy any extra towers. For the nerds: 1x Ezili, 1x 520 bomb tower, 1x 502 sub, 1x 420 village, and 1x 420 alchemist. I also placed the bomb tower closer to water.

How do you upgrade something without actually clicking it? I see a bunch of youtubers just upgrade it and I assume it's a keybind, but i can't figure out what keys are associated with each upgrade.

Yes, they are keybinds and I use them myself a lot. The base keybinds are as follows: , (top path) . (middle path) and / (bottom path)

The only reason I don’t use bloon crush is because it has 1 damage and infinite attack speed so you have to wait YEARS for the rounds to end

If you put the bomb where Ezili was then the frags would do more work because it's in a circular path. I feel like 502 is better than 520, just depending on track and placement

Honestly, I like how most of the Primary towers have stalling capability. I think it's fine to have it stall, but it's just way too expensive compared to something like a MOAB Press. On top of that, MOAB Eliminator and Bomb Blitz are awesome for damage. I don't think another damage path is needed.

Wow, overclocking a 5-0-2 did better than not oberclocking it. Well guys, this means that you can forget the possibly x17 damage for the 76% attack speed crosspath! We shoudn’t worry about super ceramics needing 3 shots to be killed because we shoot just under twice the bombs, right?

like he said in the video, it doesnt matter what the damage is as long as it can perma stun if you dont wanna wait 5 hours just spam moab defense like moab shredrs and use something like a bloon solver to clean up cerams (and in the solvers case also help with moab dps) imo this damage rework would be better if frags went back to 12 damage but could pop the original target on impact to massively increase single-target damage (also ig give the base bloon crush explosion more damage)

@@Khetomi1 I get the part of the permastun, but the bloon crush costs over 65k, why waste so much money when you can get a 420 sniper for 10k or even a 520 sniper, wich is still cheaper at 45k? A bloon crush can offer so much more than a permastun, because in terms of stun the 520 is not even the best with 5xx druid, who is just a tad bit more expensive, has a way better stall and can get buffed by poplust. Bloon crush 502 is a strong late game clean up tower with a strong utility stun. In rounds like 75 or any round upwards from 80 you can see how the frags always hit the moabs and deal masive damage, and we cant forget the sinergy with striker jones of +20% attack speed, +25% pierce (including frags) and x2 damage (sadly, not including frags) Of course the 520 is certainly a stunner and a good one at that, just that you need to have in mind that from the 170k in a game to round 100, you wasted 65k of them in a stalling tower that is not doing any damage.
