I am out in PA for work and I did some off-roading earlier this morning and I was thinking about you and your Tacoma lol. Snowy trails look amazing! Have fun!

Everyone gets stuck here and there when going off roading. Even experienced people.

Balls for sure lol. Stock tires did okay but im sure a set of all terrains would help a lot. Sites were beautiful.

Extremely wild video, love to see you guys off-roading in CO again, kinda reminds me of the TFL guys work, before they bought the ranch……also, get more recovery gear. ;)

What model drone do you use? I’ve been thinking about getting one for the same reason when I’m out and about getting awesome footage of the outdoors.

From one of your many subscribers: Wow Alex! You go from surfing in a hurricane to a dramatic rescue mission in the snowy mountains of CO! Who knows, maybe your next rescue mission will involve Italian tourists e puoi parlare con loro in italiano! Un caro saluto e tanti auguri dal tuo amico, Roberto.
@AlexSAdventures Жыл бұрын
Ciao Roberta!!! Grazie mille per aver commento (not sure if this is right hahahah it’s been a while since class)! I hope you are well, I miss taking Italian so much. I hope my next mission is rescuing Italian tourists, if it means I get to go to Italy 😂. Thank you so much for commenting and watching my video ☺️🥹 It really means the world to me!

I have a new 2023 Tacoma but before that I had 2013 short bed taco and I did so much with that thing for about 5 years completely stock. You can do it and I’m a living testimony to that haha. I would air down before hand for sure in the snow not to wild , maybe 25 psi for starters. Good call on shovels and traxs. I did a lot of lone wolf missions I can say that maybe a hidden winch could be a life saver. Low profile and keeps the stock look. Anyways looks like a good time out there and good experience. Keep them rolling! This makes me want to make videos.

This is so helpful!! Thank you for watching and sharing your experience ! Tacomas are AMAZING, I cant imagine ever not having one its been so much fun! Definitely deeply considering getting a wench now HAHAH. LESSONS WERE LEARNED haha. AND Yes make videos! its so much fun!

Snatch straps are call snatch straps for a reason snatch the crap out of them. Get as close as you can without getting stuck and take off snatch then out of the hole. Get a winch and good bumper too.

@@AlexSAdventures If you get around to southern Colorado, Colorado Springs area, hit me up, we have a great group of off-roaders that hit some incredible trails in the south central part.

Crawl Control is a great piece of technology. I would not have said no to it. It is very wise not to go snow wheeling alone and you had recovery gear with you. Very smart.
@j.r.777 Жыл бұрын
Alex, I live in Colorado and off road frequently. I always carry a ton of recovery gear with me. A few things. Knowing how to use the gear is as equally as important as carrying it. If it’s rigged wrong it can be fatal or cause serious injury. And you don’t want that to happen. Especially when stuck in a remote area. If you ever have questions about off roading, gear or anything feel free to reach out. I’ll be happy to help you in any way. I can give you my email address if you would like?
