This was a wild year for growth. I started the year with 100k total followers between platforms and am ending it with 750k. This was only meant to be a distraction for me as I taught online over the pandemic, but the love and support from all of you has motivated me to keep doing this moving forward and really invest on it in 2023. I'm a great grandmother with silver streaks in the front of my hair and I wouldn't want a photographer to remove them. If I didn't want them there I would use hair dye but I happen to like them. Sooner or later I'll develop more wrinkles but right now I have some on my forehead and I think I'll just leave them there. They reflect the many long years of raising children and pursuing my career. They reflect my worry and pain while the smile lines reflect the joyful memories. I'll be happy to leave my face to age naturally rather than getting Botox shots and the nips and tucks some of my friends have chosen to get. I don't really want to look like who I was thirty years ago because I am a different person now than I was then.
