bondsmen are handled at a state level. in my state, there are VERY clearcut and concise rules of conduct and laws that they must follow. and in some aspects, they do have more freedom than cops, are they are still private citizens, but public servants. but on the flipside, they are more restricted, as they cannot use the law to their advantage (meaning a bondsman cannot request a warrent to enter a house. but if they illegally enter one, it's trespassing not a civil rights violation).

Law enforcement has become a business to generate revenue for the principality they work for. You cannot enforce laws when you don’t know how to read and interpret the law. That’s why officers don’t officially charge you until after they have spoke with a superior officer that does know the law. Protect and serve is a thing of the past. If your house is broken into, unless your rich or prominent in the community, they won’t even try to get fingerprints or do any investigation. Why? Because there is no money to be made from it. Their time is better used out profiling people for traffic stops with the hopes of finding guns, drugs, or their favorite, cash.

@@vsupreme9386 That's partially true. A bond company can decide to rescind their bond and go after people. That, however, is between the bond company and the person who used their service. Revocation of a bond will allow a warrant to be issued for the person but not necessarily allow the "hot pursuit" of the person (it may just be a bench warrant or arrest on sight). Bond recovery agents are NOT law enforcement and the police should not be involved in their recovery efforts, especially illegal ones!

The corruption in the so-called justice system is so deep and wide that it will not be stopped soon. If and when it is, it will be due to the brave auditors who fearlessly pursue the bad cops (none are good) and shine a light on their activities that they try to hide under the cover of darkness. They cannot conceal or deny what is clearly shown to be illegal activity even when the ordinary corrupt judges assist them to do so in their qualified immunity protected status. Some day we may have a police force that, knows and obeys all of the laws, doesn't lie, in all cases, but I don't know where they will come from. Such persons seem to be in short supply in this and other courntries from what I have seen. And I have seen only the smallest amount of video evidence here on KZbin.

If you think they were bad with these folks and you're realizing how bad they've been just over the last year of you watching these videos, pause for a moment to think about the utter brutality the police (in conjunction with the courts) have heaped on the Black community for centuries - when there was no such thing of cameras rolling - and then people wonder why many Black people don't trust the "system". What you're finally realizing is only the smallest, straight-pin sized tip of an Earth-sized iceberg. It's what we've been saying for over 10 decades, but nearly every time we're told that we're being paranoid, that we're overestimating the issue, or that we're flat out lying....gaslit for well over 100 years, SMH...

These people are tyrants with a badge and a gun. What I really want people to understand every time they watch these videos, is how many victims out there have had their lives ruined before video became so widespread. Folks, these things didn’t just start happening in the last 5-10 years despite right-wing programming attempting to paint it as things like “woke” and “police harassment”. They were even WORSE when they were unchecked and officers knew they could do anything they wanted. Do you know how many people remain in prison, languishing because there wasn’t video evidence exonerating them? How many families destroyed? How many children without fathers or mothers? It’s the neverending circle of recidivism and it keeps all the people who are paid money to hold these jobs-from officers, to corrections, to parole and probation-it’s a machine and it is time these officers who ARE culpable and ARE filmed to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and qualified immunity MUST stop so that these tyrants truly pay for their behavior.

Unbelievably disgusting! These cops and ex-cops epitomize what is wrong with police organizations across the country. The fact they act like this when a camera is on them is frightening. How do they behave when nobody is watching? Scary! Thank you LackLuster for putting yourself out there and have the courage and fortitude to bring this corruption to light. Guys like you, Audit the Audit and others do this, gives me hope we can someday have an honest, unbiased police force. Keep up the good work!!

Love it, next we must find justice for what they did to the camera man Chris. The department is corrupt if they allow this. The chief is corrupt, sad.y this is happening more and more. Policing has become an ego job with huge pay, crooked people, bullies , narcissists and cowards.

I live in orange county, where this happened , and if not for KZbin I wouldn't have seen or heard about it. But I also think many of the local media are in bed with police departments, and only a few would do this story. It's how the system becomes corrupt , law enforcement feeds media bs stories, media gets the story, and on it goes. Was the story true? No one checks no one cares or they expect media has checked. Sad part of this story is Anaheim is also where Disneyland is.

News departments have limited resources to cover an entire city’s worth of breaking news plus any national news they can/deem necessary. This incident appears to have happened in the camera-holders neighborhood, so he was able to take the video opportunistically. There’s no way news teams can stake out random cops doing their jobs. Fortunately, technology and the internet are helping to broaden coverage.
