installed the Mostplus brand LEDs. the difference is night and day from the oem lights. My parents live in an unincorporated area of the country with no street lights so it pretty dark driving down their street unless you turn your high beams on. not anymore super white light stretches out in front of my 2013 Honda accord coupe. helps when folks are walking their dogs I could see them until I was on top of them. probably changing the for lights next.

Awful lack of beam pattern. You say there's a nice clean cut off but you're just looking at the fence that's lit up with nothing directly behind it... These (and HID conversion kits) are illegal in the UK, because they give poor visibility up the road, and dazzle oncoming traffic.

for anyone watching this USE RUBBER/NITRILE gloves for the install or even just touching the LED bulbs at all. I am trying to find LED replacements for my 2004 CRV as high quality as possible. The replacements in this video look REALLY impressive. I hope I can find a set that is more 5000-5500k for better color rendition. My only concern is how reliable are the little cooling fans in each LED unit? For all the LED haters out there thinking their HID's are the shiznit remember that LED units use considerably less power for the same or better performance
@entropy80008 жыл бұрын

Louie how do you know that? Hid on a market since 90's. car LED around 3 years? to short of the time to say anything. but the fact that HID is brighter that everyone knows.
@C43Y6 жыл бұрын
Led lights are never good on projector lens. If you want to upgrade your lights I would suggest hid lights because in projector lens the light needs to hit the back of the projector to put light in the front. LEDs block that from happening. LEDs are better on the reflector lights and hids are for projectors. Hope this helped!

I have a set of after market LED's on my FR-S. They are amazingly bright, but they suck for two reasons: 1. They interfere with my FM Radio. 2. they turned my high beams into flood lights. There is no real beam pattern any more because the light source is not the tiny point of light the reflectors were designed for.

I just got a pair of these for my 2017 Accord. The problem with these is that the range of the auxbeams (or any LED's in the market) are very short. They are bright and all, but not bright enough. There is a lot of light dissipation even in projector headlamps. I recommend HID's instead, but these are not too bad for a cheaper headlight mod.

Watts is a unit of heat, not indicative of light emission. Candlepower is an obsolete measure of luminance, the most recent being lumen. I have 12,000 lumen lamps and they are available as much as 20,000, which I will be trying next. My 12,000 lumen, 6500 k, are brutally bright and the light well distributed.

These lights look brighter on camera than in person. They're only about 3k lumens a bulb and they're ok. I personally give them a 2.5 out of 5. The cool factor is there for the color being that nice white but they're not all that bright. You can get 6-9k lumen bulbs on eBay for the same price as these on amazon. Just shop around a bit before jumping into leds for the first time like I did.

I have those LED headlights install in my toyota yaris. Used it for two months but have to removed again because the "DRIVERS" of that LED interfere in the functionality of my AM/FM frequencies. I can't listen to radio when my headlight is on and I found out that all LED lights causes electromagnetic interference (EMI) that afffect the radio performance. I can't be driving for longer time without listening to either AM TO LISTEN TO TALK SHOWS or to FM TO LISTEN TO MUSIC.

There is a kit with Philips LumiLeds that i have and use daily for very long periods of time during the night. PhilipsXenon on ebay sells them, i can't find them on the manufacturers website anymore but they referred me to that ebay seller. they're 6000k 8000lm Genssi Elite LED conversion kits. Fully adjustable beam pattern, with a removable heatsink. I literally light up 5 lanes with solid white going down the freeway at night. 5 months in and they're still as bright as day 1. No way will i ever go back to Halogen, i would definitely consider trying these if they ever burn out. I don't know much about HID's but i would love to put 3000k's in my Celica's foglights.

These F-16 bulbs are bright, but I don’t recommend them. First night out, sat a traffic light and one started to flash high beam to low beam. 60 degrees out. Every time I’m out at night, the same one overheats and starts flashing. As soon as I start moving, and air flow comes through, it’s fine. Tired of pissing people off. Returning them. Maybe I’m bitter I didn’t get a hat like this guy, lol. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me.

I have a 2008 Accord....what do you think about using these as my DRL / High Beams ......???? I'm wanting a white light for my DRL .....if not these then do you have any suggestions.......thanks

That looks like 6000k, to white for my taste, you're missing that hint of purple that you can see from certain distance depending in what angle you look at it, you only get that with hid 8000k ,or OEM bulbs and ballast

Not if you headlight come with projectors, this days people use hid in halogen lamps which is not recommended, but anything from 8000k and down will look better than pure white in my opinion

Pretty awesome man and I'm pretty sure it would look good on my 2016 Fiesta ST. Maybe AUX BEAM LED can sponsor me a pair. Heck I would settle for that cool hat too! Seriously those are some dope drop in LED's! Outstanding!

hay dude you should get the high beam too, it;s not more powerfull its just the reflector angle that chainges the beam to make it shine higher, you should invest !

What do you do with all of the other led bulbs that you removed when trying out new leds?

you should pull the fuse for the parking lights so they are not running while you LED'$ are on ... so basically they wouldonly come on when you use your turn signal 😉

Show the workup without your fog lights being on....... Just a suggestion for fairness.

Hi I just purchased these for my 2016 Kia Optima lx they look great but should I put my dust covers back on everything fits in the headlight will that cause leds to blow or should I leave them off.?

the description on the product you reviewed says 80W, but the link you wrote on the description, leads me to the same product but 60W. Does it make any difference in color? Please advice.
