Good evening, my name is Rodrigo and I am from Argentina. If I read correctly, you are from the United Kingdom. I was in London last year and I really loved it. I was not only impressed by the city of London, but also by the kindness of the English people. They are very respectful. Moreover, I don't speak English (only a little), and the immigration officer was very kind and tried to answer my questions despite my poor English. She understood me, but there was one question for which I had to ask permission to use Google Translate. She was very respectful towards me. When I was outside the airport, I didn't know which train to take. I asked a gentleman, who I am sure was English, which train I should take. Not only did he tell me which one to take, but he also accompanied me and made sure I got on the right train. This is what made me fall in love with the United Kingdom the most.

Some foreigners think our politeness a bit annoying and apologies for things we have no control over weird. I hope most of us would offer to help if we think we could, but stay back to avoid being intrusive. But of course we consider Gibraltar and the Falklands British as long as their people want to be British :)

I'm a bus driver for a large company here in the UK (Arriva), I started at 20 years old and have been in the PCV driving industry for 8 years. I did do a year as a coach driver for a company near me. It's was very demanding, as a lot of the work was long distance. My usual working pattern was 4 on 4 off. However, if I was doing a journey that was long-range (european routes), I would work 7 days on 7 days off. A very common route for this pattern was from where we were based over to Paris. Around 9 hours of driving one way. I would drive to Paris and then spend the next 6 or so days in a hotel until I did the return journey. Don't get me wrong, it's a really interesting job. And getting paid to the site see around Paris is pretty epic. However, if you have young kids like myself, it is pretty demanding. Massive respect to the flixbus drivers ! I have been contacted to go back to my old coach company doing the 7 on 7 off roster again. Who knows? I might do it as the 7 days off is amazing !

This is giving me flashbacks from my time travelling around South America in my 20's. Rio to Buenos Aires, a cool 40 hours, fortunately some fellow travellers gave us some high grade valium tablets in the hostel and I was only awake for around 5 of the 40. Cuzco to Santiago in one go was the worst. 17 hrs to Peru/Chile border, 4 hour faff getting over the border and then straight onto a 27 hr bus to Santiago. No pharmaceuticals and a dose of Bolivia belly that had us running to the coffin of a toilet ever hour or so. Brutal but a memorable adventure. No chance in hell I'd do that these days, so massive respect for this, you're off your head 🤣 Great vid 👍

It would have been interesting to learn how much each bus was and how long it took from start to finish and what the alternative with Easy Jet or Ryanair would have been in time and money !

I fully agree. Without that context what is the point of showing this journey? Presumably it's cheap, but how cheap? Worth the pain or not even close?

Paris-Bercy is such a dirty, chaotic and sketchy busstop. It's a shame the city doesn't take care of it.

I've ordered your book "End To End" to read when I'm in hospital soon. I'll need a good escape when I'm recovering! I'm looking forward to reading it. 🎉

I endured a coach trip from Manchester to Lloret de mar in the 80's, I was in my 20's and it was still painful! Couldn't imagine doing that again!

I live in Nottingham,it takes 8 minutes by bus to get into the city centre.Due to my hatred of everyone plus the morons/druggies etc etc that get on the bus,i`d rather walk into town.I live in a Supported Assisted Living complex with 26 flats, our new manager has organised a coach trip to Skegness and asked if i was going ?,i told her that The Ukraine,North Korea,Syria or Israel sounded much more promising.
