While watching this build progress, I started thinking this car belongs at SEMA. No idea how to get a car in, the cost, etc. but it would sure be great for the channel. The meticulous planning and execution of this build is fascinating to watch but also recognizing the amount of thought and research that had to go into this project is mind boggling. An incredible amount of time and perseverance. I appreciate all that you do to allow us to follow along. Best KZbinr period.

I believe you have to be invited to be in the SEMA show, and the car has to be wildly well done to be in a pavilion (you could show outside, but that appears to be akin to the "cheap seats").

SEMA is a circus that doesn't benefit the builders hardly at all. The impact on her channel would be tiny, if anything. This car would get way more appreciation somewhere like JCCS or similar. As someone who has been to SEMA many times, and had a few cars in the show - it isn't worth the effort.

You were saying about having all the fittings terminate at the same point? Don't. They pile up! Make 'em all (if possible) staggered, it's SO much easier to put a wrench on them. And the stack ends up skinnier.

In my work as a vacuum chamber technician I installed miles of copper and stainless steel tubing. Never had a chance to work with CuNi. It looks like it is light years better than either! Having fabricated a few er "custom parts" on my own airplane, I can tell you that AN equivalent fittings can be had for much cheaper from your local hydraulics shoppe. These are called JIC fittings and come with the same 37 deg seat angle the AN's. The only difference is they are made from steel which is super handy when you want something custom without having 19 fittings screwed together.. You just lop the ends off that you want and weld them back together..:). You should have seen my custom fuel system!

Yeah, I understood your reasoning and I thought it was a great idea, but I really wasn't sure it was even possible. This has become a REAL project and it's really looking like it's gonna happen! Perfectionism? It's the only way to do ANY of this. If it was stock parts on a completely stock car you could get away with playing fast and loose with some things. But the whole idea of this project is completely off the wall so everything HAS to be just right if it's really gonna work. Go! Go! Go! I don't think anyone but you could pull this off, and it's a delight watching you do it.

Brakes with no booster just means more time getting the size of the pistons right to ensure the pedal can be pressed with reasonable force, along with having a lot more feedback in to the toes when using them. If you really need to, there's Remote Boosters, it's more hydraulic line plumbing, but you can shift the booster around to an easier to fit location.

Sarah, I suggest you reconsider that brake master cylinder mount, it should be offset away from the engine for spark plug access and hopefully to prevent the master cylinder and booster from getting too hot from engine/exhaust heat. That vacuum booster may also be a bad idea with your "cammed" engine, you may not have enough manifold vacuum for the booster to be effective.
