My husband is the same as yours, my luxury bags have been from my hubby, I haven’t bought any on my own except for Rebecca minkoff or Kate spade ones. But the one Dior and one Chanel I do have is from my hubs. So I think I shall save the Louis for when we travel to Paris one day lol!

The Locky BB was part of the 2019 SS release so it's relatively new! Yeah, I used to be a totebag lover but now they're a little too cavernous for me. I'm excited to take these out on the town! 🖤 Haha yeah Adam is a pretty neat dude 😝😍

Slashed Beauty the bottom is neutral enough for the pop of red. There is just something about that shade of red that sets the bag apart, not to dark, not to bright. How are you enjoying it now that your home? Dose it meet your standards/ needs? Dose it have daily go to potential?

@@Sarahhannahtx For me personally, it's a bit small for an everyday bag. I know some people on IG who do use it that way but I carry sunglasses, lotion, hand sanitizer, a small wallet, plus my phone makes this way too stuffed. Especially because of the shape of the bag-- where you see the indentations on the sides, is actually indented inside as well so less space. So I use it for nights out or a day out where I know I can carry light and plan ahead to do so. But my normal day to day things like groceries, gym, lunch.. I use a Coach bag!

Hi! So glad you enjoyed it. Because of the size of these bags, I'm not using them as everyday handbags but maybe once a week for nights out. Otherwise they're in their dust bags. Nothing is stretched yet, however the top handle on the Locky does leave an imprint on the soft leather on the top of the bag. This is something I read about happens with almost everyone's bag if the handle is laying down. I still have the protective plastic on the lock so it's not scratched either. Once it falls off, I'll probably find another type of clear protector for it because I think that's what makes the bag so pretty and I don't want it to get scuffed up. The Felicie is much more "worry free" since there's no hardware besides the chain, and it's still in great condition-- I've even brought it to concerts with me and it's done really well.

How did you transport your purses and their respective boxes on the plane? I'm going to paris and London in November and will be buying luxury bags too. Really want to bring home the boxes too

I kept them in their dust bags within the boxes and put them in my overhead hard case carry on. You have to have them accessible for customs in case they ask to see what you bought. The paper shopping bag I folded flat and put in my checked bag!

It still looks great, but it’s not my everyday bag so keep that in mind! There are slight dents where the top handle rests but knew that would happen going into it. The black one will probably less obvious when this happens! Congrats on the new bag!

There's a large counter that's specifically labelled for the tax refunds that you go through I believe before security. They had actually filed the refund for me at the LV store so they already had the info but yes, have your receipts on hand.

What a great video! Although not as budget friendly as most of your purchases...you definitely found a great buy on a sentimental splurge. Thanks for sharing the prices. How easy was it to get the tax refund at the airport and did you have to pay import taxes when you came back home to the US?

The refund was extremely easy. It was all automated with a kiosk. So apparently it's really hit or miss whether your customs agent will actually charge you taxes. We filled out our forms accordingly (actually over-estimated the US dollar amount we were bringing back) and were not asked to pay anything.

We declared everything (the customs officer had to scan our VAT paperwork) and didn't owe anything. Since there were two of us traveling I think they combine values for family. Either way, we filled everything out and the customs officer said we were fine to go through without paying anything else.

My wife and traveled to Paris and London. While in Paris, my wife wanted to get a couple LV bags. We were treated like fecal material. We got revenge by returning the bags. We went to the non tourist store. The store manage was shocked. We then went to the tourist area store and bought the same bags for less. It is customary to receive a complimentary beverage and croissants after purchase. The main store gave us nothing. But we were escorted out by security. Will we be visiting Paris again? F#$k NO!!!!
