This is going to make me look super-dorky, but on the topic of your "Thanks for watching" outro... I actually salute the screen every time you say "thanks for watching". It's partially because your thanks actually DOES feel super-genuine, partially because I feel genuinely grateful for how rad the episode was, AND partially because of the rhythm-gaming vibes of how that outro music drop PERfectly lands on the salute. Seriously, from all the way back in The Final Bosman, your shows have been fine-tuned in audio editing & timing. The honk is strong with this one.

Iron Galaxy was behind Killer Instinct (2013) seasons 2 and 3 after Double Helix (very unfortunately) was picked up by Amazon. They did a lot of great work on it. I feel for some of their people specifically, like Adam Keits who was combat designer on KI and lead designer on Rumbleverse.

I loved Rumbleverse and played it pretty much every day for the last 3 months. It was really going somewhere in recent weeks, too. The devs genuinely cared and listened to feedback and their dev streams going over every single change and why they made it were fantastic insight into balancing a battle royale with fun and player skill expression at the forefront. This is 100% a "Epic thinks this game isn't making enough money so it's pulling the plug so it doesn't have to bother supporting it." CLASSIC deadbeat dad behavior.

6:03 Something similar happened with ATLAS: REACTOR, with the developer team working on and releasing a single-player version of that game with a campaign... but without the exact same gameplay that was the reason for me liking ATLAS: REACTOR. The gameplay of the multiplayer online only game being a chess like--Xcom Like--prediction contest that's all about everyone going on the same exact turn and trying to guess where their opponent will be when they order their dude to fire. It's unfortunate.
