What's also generally not known is that Noah had an aquarium on each deck, and in each of those aquariums (aquaria?) he placed a carp. Thus making the very first multi storey carp ark.

We have written records from the Egyptians both before, through and after the flood. The Great pyramids were built around 2550 BC, the supposed time frame of the flood. Apparently the Egyptians weren't aware of the global flood that supposedly wiped them out.

I don’t think the bible actually gives a date for the flood. Graham Hancock and Randall Carlsons younger dryas impact theory would explain Noah’s flood in non religious terms to non religious people better then this video I think. Look them up on the Joe Rogan Podcast. Their hypothesis is really interesting and has tons of physical proof.

@@Steph-sk3xb the flood time frame given by creationist is about 2400 BC. There were many civilizations that existed both before, during and after this time frame, with absolutely zero impact. This alone proves that the global flood is not fact. Besides that there are many other reasons at to why the flood cannot be true. How on earth could eight people have cared for 16,000 (low AIG estimation) animals? How did they store enough food (both plant and meat) for the animals? How did they dispose of the 100s - 1000s tonnes of waste each day? There was only one window in the ark! All of this for an entire year! I'll checkout your suggestion though.

Work has already been done correcting the Egyptian chronology with the Hebrew texts. You can't compare the two directly as different cultures reckoned times differently. Egyptian dynasties started at the last day of the first year reign of the king, and sometimes there were 2 reigning at once. Isrealites started on the first day of the king's reign. When corrected and put together, the Egyptian scale shrinks several centuries to fit the Hebrew.

The atmospheric changes from the mechanism that caused the flood had the follow on effects that caused the ice age. The ice/land bridges across places like the bering strait and probably the north sea allowed it. It's also very possible the continents were closer together than they are now, allowing crossings in other locations as well.

@@noahlarson1861 your entire explanation is you guessing. There is zero evidence for an ice age 4500 years ago. The science of geomorphology disproves your "close" continents. The continents were in fact one large continent approximately 200 million years ago. It's taken that long for the continents move to where they are today. My statements are backed by entire scientific fields, your "answers" are guesses, backed up by nothing. They in fact clash with the facts.

These are interesting verses: And the Lord smelled a savor of rest, and the Lord said in his heart, I will henceforth curse the ground NO MORE for man’s cause: for the imagination of man’s heart is evil, even from his youth: neither will I smite anymore all things living, as I have done. EVERYTHING that moveth and liveth, SHALL BE meat for you: as the green herb, have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, I mean, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. For surely I will require your blood, wherein your lives are: at the hands of every beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, even at the hand of a man’s brother will I require the life of man. Who so sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man. Genesis 8:21,9:3-6 I wonder what curse that was because we certainly still have weeds and infertile soil. And later God gave laws about what to eat.

One of the considerations for constructing a wooden ship as large as Noah’s ark that I haven’t seen addressed to date is the building material. Fossil records indicate that a great number of things grew larger before the flood and I would assume that this would include the gopher wood that the ark was constructed of according to scripture. We have no records or samples of this material as to what size these trees grew to or it’s structural properties but since it was included in God’s instructions to Noah for use as his building material it would have had the required properties for construction of the ark and it’s survival of the rigors of the flood I’m sure. For those who don’t believe in Noah’s ark or the biblical flood don’t tell me, save it for when you stand before the Creator of the universe in judgement and you try and explain it to Him since you’re so sure of your position.

Though the Ark story is not a myth, many of our beliefs about it are mythical or completely ridiculous. 1. It didnt rain before the flood, or that it didnt rain before Adam: If that was true, all life on earth would die pretty quickly. The MIST that it talks about in Genesis 2 is not enough to properly water plants or keep the soil moist enough for plants to grow. It also goes against the water evaporation cycle. Where was Noah from? The desert. How often does it rain there? Rarely, but it does rain. Noah also built an ocean-going vessel when he lived in a place where there were no oceans for thousands of miles. He might have built ships, but they were small one-deck fishing boats for lakes and rivers, not massive multiple-deck vessels built for roaring oceans during massive storms. 2. Noah gathered all the 7 clean pairs and 1 unclean pair of animals on earth: Before Noahs account, there is no mentioning of clean or unclean animals. This was a Mosaic law that was taken out of context. The animals were warned by God about the flood coming, so they made their trip towards Noah. If multiple species came, they were clean species, but if only one species came, they were unclean. Just the same that WE are CLEAN if we listen to God and obey him, but we are UNCLEAN if we ignore and disobey him. Another odd thing that these Ark Adventure folks believe in is completely against scripture. I saw another video from them describing this. They know that the ark is too small to house even one pair of every species on earth, so to combat this, they say that back in those times, there werent multiple breeds. All dogs came from one dog species like a wolf. All cats came from one cat species, like a lion etc. According to them, somehow, the species diverged after the flood. For examples: Out of horses there was the Arabian first. After the flood, they diverged into the Cleveland Bay, the Quarter Horse, the Jaded Tersk, the Appaloosa, etc. Out of lions also came all the other cats like the leopards, tigers, panthers, and domestic cats etc. They talked about every species this way. Therefore, they support evolution. 3. If it was only Adam to Noah, and we follow the genetic line and the times, there was only 100 or so people on the earth by the time of the flood. Also, after my research of the years when people were born and when the flood was, the findingscare significant. EVERYONE was ALIVE by the time Noah was born, except for Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel and Seth. By the time the flood occurred, almost everyone was still alive besides 2 others and Enoch who was taken early by God. Everyone else died in the flood, including Methuselah! Why would God destroy the earth over a handful of people? Also didnt God know the future that humanity would continue sinning? Its like if you have roaches and rats in your house, you tell thecexterminator to kill them all. You dont tell them to leave a mating pair alive! God wouldnt be logical if he killed all life worldwide because of sin..it not only makes him omnicidal, but it makes him illogical and inefficient. Also, vdont you think of all the cultures who had a similar story of a worldwide flood, but with different little details, might be veause of the very possible fact, that there were MULTIPLE NOAH CHARACTERS whom God chose to instruct to do this for their own regions and local indigenous animals? Noah can't save them all. There were hundreds and thousands of people around the world that acted like Noah. God can talk to anyone he wishes. 4. The flood waters fell on the earth for 40 days, and they covered the tops of the montains, and the flood waters fully receeded within a year: Impossible. Just scientifically impossible. Water doesnt recede that fast. Even though the depths of floods and tsunamis and hurricanes such as Katrina, the 2011 Japan quake and tsunami, and other major floods were considerably shallower than over-the-mountain floodwaters, yet those took many months to recede, plus with human assistance, and there were nearby ocean coasts where water should easily flood downhill back to the ocean or recede quickly into the soft sand there, quite unlike the hard dry land of deserts where Noah was from. Where did all that water come from? Taken from oceans? Ok, God makes the oceans dry to flood the land, and somehow the entire earth still stays covered over the mountains without the water rushing back downhill in massive tsunamis overturning the ship quickly, killing everything on it. Or water just appeared magically and filled the sky. Like "Waterworld's great deluge." God showed me what really really happened, when I was about 12 years old in 1989. Science later proved some of this already. There was great pressure under the soil with a buildup of water and magma being superheated. Though there were some seismic fault lines, they were shallow. The crust used to be thinner, but as earth formed over bullions of years, the outer crust was cool and solid. The pressure of superheated water and magma under the crust was too much, and the crust funally cracked in a huge earthquake worldwide, causing major fault rifts all over the earth, sending up water and magma. Because water is lighter and evaporates, but magma doesnt, the magma spilt on the ground low like a volcano. Water in the atmosphere cooled with the ash in the sky, blocking the sun, and it began to rain for many many months, bringing down the ash. Noah never noticed much of this because he was locked in the ark without any light coming into the ark, otherwise it wouldvfill up with water. It took many decades for the water to recede. Noah never knew what time of day it was because the sun was blocked, so he couldn't count the days. When the water receded enough and the ark landed on Mt Ararat, it is told that he builds a vinyard and eventually drinks the wine and gets drunk. How much time does it take a vinyard to grow? How much time does it take regular grapes to ferment into alcohol? A coulple years for all of this. 5. The ages of Noah and his ancestors being in multiple hundreds of years, but afterwards, less than 100: Scientists discovered the reasons why some dinosaurs got so big. Earth was smaller in circumference, thus less mass and natural gravity. The moon was closer, so there is more of a pull of gravity away from earth, making the actual weight of something lighter. There was more pure oxygen in the atmosphere and less nitrogen, and oxygen is healthy. Just like people on respirators and oxygen tanks, they have very little nitrogen in it. The oxygen was lighter, and helped things grow bigger. Lizards never stop growing. Were there dinosaurs on the Ark? No. They were already extinct. What is six days to a God who is omnipresent, omnipotent and omnitemporal (existing at all times at the same time)? Who does he have to rush for? Is he on some cosmic quest to see how quickly he can build a universe or is he under a boss' tight deadline schedule? No. He made the universe in 6 STEPS, each in a series of one objective after another, in order for all of it to be done NATURALLY, not MAGICALLY. How could there be days when the sun wasnt made until the 4th day? A day is relevant only to WHERE you are at. On earth, 24 hours. On the moon, a month (phases). On Jupiter, 10 hours. For God, "A thousand years is like a day and a day is like a thousand years." Continued in Pt 2 in a reply to this comment

Part 2 6. Man gathered in one place with one language, and God confused their language over fear of our accomplishments and we spread over the earth: Ridiculous. God gave us brains bright enough to do these things. If he feared it, he would have made us like chinpanzees and gorillas. God did make man out of the soil. He created the female egg and male sperm, and put them together in the soil like a seed and pollen and water. The soil was used as an incubator for over a year until the first humans broke free from the ground like a chick from an egg, and began to look for food on their own. The earth was populated with many different races of humans, each in their natural place that we say they originate from more recently. Blacks in Africa, Whites from Europe, Asians from southeast Asia, etc. They all had their own languages and cultures. What happened was that the Nephilim kidnapped thousands of humans and forced them as slave labor to build the Tower of Babel. The humans thought that all the people spoke one tongue because they didnt mingle with other races. The Nephilim segregated them. But these Nephilim lived hundreds of years and were huge, like 50 ft tall. They knew all the languages, so they could communicate with all of the groups. Many survived the flood because they were good swimmers and nothing was strong enough to attack them. A great white shark would be a meal to them. The influx of water would not have been much for them. Watch honestly how slow the 2011 Japan quake tsunami rolled in and tell me that a 50-ft creature wouldnt take this like a child at the beach letting the smallest waves soak over their feet. When the Tower of Babel was completed, it wasnt high enough to reach their gods so they climbed it, piling on one another. One falls, and everything crumbled down. They all died. The humans were confused and tried to investigate, finally meeting these other races of other languages. They assumed God had changed their languages. If they all split off alone based on their languages, as scripture suggests, they would have died out, alone. This would have been more effective and less messy than the flood. They actually just gathered in the groups of their languages and went home where they came from. Why would God be afraid of our abilities? He made us this way! God would be pretty stupid if he was afraid of our accomplishments because we work together. Plus, God showed me the truth on earthquakes and faults. There was never Pangea, or a super continent. Earth was always the same shape and design as it is now, and it will always be. Rocks dont move on their own, since they dont have a form of locomotion. If they did, we would see rocks moving by themselves on the surface, when under zero pressure. An earthquake isnt caused when pressured rocks move along fault lines. The fault cracks are too jaged to allow any movement. They are stuck in place. Try taking a completed jigsaw puzzle and moving one piece to another location upon the same flat plane, without disturbing all the other pieces. Impossible isnt it? If quakes happened this way, any 6.0 quake anywhere, would also be felt the same or worse, everywhere on earth. What about those 16-Square picture puzzles, where there are 16 equally shaped and sized squares, arranged 4x4, each with a fragment of a picture, that you slide around to complete the picture. There is always one piece missing to allow you to slide them around. The crust is deeper than the ocean floor, so things arent sliding on top of that. Without perfectly straight edges or missing pieces, the plates cant move. Also, if an earthquake moved one part of the plate along the fault line, shouldnt the whole plate move with it? It should, but it doesnt. It only happens in one little area, although it is felt over great distances along the rift of a faultline. Its actually caused by superheated magma under pressure, which is a semi-liquid, moving under the solid rock crust. When a superheated area passes near a fault line, it has room to escape, and bubble up. This causes the crack in this area to wiggle a bit. The hotter the magma, the higher the pressure, and the longer, deeper, and more fragile the faultline is, the bigger the quake has the potential of being. This is like if you take many large ships and moor them together closely, and put them in the ocean during a storm. They will float and bounce around on the waves, bumping into other ships, but they wont sink. Mountains arent created because of landmasses smashing into each other. Take two similar cars, and put them against one another, front bumper to front bumper, and slam on the accelerators of both. Try to get them to crush one another into vertical heaps. They wont do that, and they have power behind them pushing them forward into each other, which rocks dont have. Even if the continents did collide, how fast do you think theyd have to go to push up mountains? Yeah, there's mountains in heavy earthquake zones like the San Gabriels in California (extinct volcanoes), the Himalayans in India and Nepal, and the Andes in South America. But what about the Rockies, the Appalachians, and many others? They are just higher plots of land, just as the oceans are deep plots of land. None of these areas rose or sank because of quakes or erosion. They were made like this for a purpose. Just because scrupture says "God said" something, it doesnt mean God actually said it or did anything against us. Otherwise he would be a sinner, and a far worse sinner than all of humanity combined. Just because he is God and all powerful, it doesnt give him the right to kill us or change things against us at his convenience. He either follows the same rules that he outlaid for us, or he is a hypocrite, a liar, a murderer, a boasting, conceited and wicked scoundrel, and is definitely not holy and righteous. Knowing that he is not those things, i choose to believe that he doesnt do the things that scripture says he does, which make him out to be wicked. God is logical and has common sense. But a lot of the thigs scripture says that God does have no logic or common sense. Those things are not of God. Have some discernment and realize what is either truth or fiction in scripture, by knowing the truth about who God is and what he does or does not do. That is the key. And dont get me started on The Garden of Eden. We REALLY have that story wrong! Thanks for reading. God bless you all.

The reasoning behind this time line of events derives from adding up the ages of people in the bible.. His sons, extended family, and anyone willing to work? Did you bother to check how old people were living then? Post flood, the ages gradually dropped off.

@@ITPalGame There is no archaeological evidence of people around the time of Noah living to great ages - or of a flood that was 15 cubits deeper than "all the high mountains". Where did the water come from - and where did it go?

@@platform2austria84 there is no archeological evidence of anyone living to 80? 30? How about 100? How about the full fusing of the skull seams which isn't seen in man today, but has been found in some old skulls. This would occur when the person has matured greatly. Man does not live long enough today for this to occur. This is what is called, "evidence" - something that points to a possible result worthy of further investigation. I have numerous videos saved in my video collection playlist on this topic in "Church / Creation / Evolution" and "God and Proof". People assume that the mountains existing as they are today are what the flood covered. There is internal Biblical evidence that "the mountains rose and the valleys sank", thus a more rapid movement of the tectonic plates occurred, warping, bending, subducting, and so forth whole land masses, with visible unbreaking in places, which can only occur when the ground is still damp. Water seeks its own level, and so would have been rushing downwards as the land rose, carving out valleys, sloshing this way, then that way, depositing, scouring, redepositing, some giant lakes forming, rising, some eventually breaking and gargantuan floods creating the Eastern valleys of Washington and the Grand Canyon. Where did the water go? Ever been to the beach? Ever seen the ice caps? "a great wind went across..." Which would have caused rapid evaporation of an much warmer ocean that had been heated by massive volcanic activity globally (throwing more dust, iridium, in the air; water needs something to condense on to form rain). It is written, "the foutains of the deep broke open" This can be underground seas as well as lava. The global "ring of fire" and the other regions of plates seen today are the remnants of a planet once broken that experienced a run away tectonic event, possibly traveling a few feet per minute (see the research and computer model of Dr Baumgardener PhD geologist, expert on plate tectonics, featured in said videos, contributor to multiple creationist organizations). For an "ice age" to occur, the waters had to have been much warmer than the land regions. The warm air being moved onto these land regions would have caused rapid cooling, storms, snow, and ice. Ice is mentioned in Job, believed to be one of, if not the oldest book in the Bible. There is internal evidence that suggests this and gives insight into a world just perhaps 1k years after the flood. Dive into those folders, follow the Institute for Creation Research, Northwest Creation Network, Is Genesis History, etc and do your own homework.

If they were used to rain, then why did everyone fill with fear and wanted to get on the arc now.8f they were accustom to rain lt seems like it would have taken awhile before they would have even noticed any reason to worry yet. Why would they be fearful and panic When it began ro rain then?

The word that was translate as "Carpenter" actually more accurately translates to "builder" Most builders in Yeshua's time didn't work with wood, they worked with stone. It would more accurately be he was a stonemason. Or builder. By trade. not carpenter. So teaching that Christ "worked with wood like Noah" Isn't actually true.
